Not so much.Any laser will always injure your eyes, no matter it is high or low degree.

Because the doctor who attended to me was a lady and i don't feel comfortable with her explanation and stuff.

Hi AngryChicken,

I went to Shinagawa last Saturday. It was a male doctor, Dr Lee, the MD of Shinagawa, who I've consulted.

I'm considering about lasik too.
I know a few people who has got it done recently.
They seemed to be happy with the results.

However, I have high astigmatism and Dr Lee told me that there are 7% chances that I might have some left behind after lasik.

Articles, reports and videos are confusing and scaring me =(

i am quite scare if things goes wrong leh, is there one time insurance to buy? or if aft the lasik, something went wrong, will they be responsible or depend on whether if got sign up for insurance?

cosmetic surgeries including lasik does not have insurance 1... or maybe very rare.

possible problems are eye infection, starburst etc... permanent blindness is extremely rare especially from a good surgeon in singapore.

most problems will be the results, some people don't get the desired eyesight they want and may still need glasses when driving.

I got my voucher 3 months after my lasik over there when they sent me my so-called 3 years warranty card. Well if you can get the vouchers from the talks then good for you.

And no, I do not think my actions is defined as in http://www.thefreedictionary.com/cheat
