Hello! Very welcome! I didn’t take any multi-vitamins other than the one that was provided. It is basically some Vitamin C and Zinc (the type that dissolved in water). They will provide the first set and ask you to drink it over a period!

I purchased more from Watson’s/ Guardian cause it was cheaper than getting it from the clinic. I actually continued taking it for like half a year just because I think I really needed the vitamins (and I bought a lot cause it was cheaper, HAHA)

If it is a proven fact, Dr will encourage people to do so and why is this not shared during the consultation or after the surgery? Surely, there is more to it. After surgery, are people disciplined enough to follow the eye drop regime?? Instilling eye drops as instructed..

Hello! I agree with you. Taking vitamins does not means the healing process will quicken as there are various factors, and every individual differs on the healing process.

In turns of discipline, I think it’s really based on individuals. Obviously if we care for our eyes, we will do as instructed. I don’t get your point on this?

In addition, I’m pretty sure I got the effervescent tablets from the doctor after my lasik surgery 3-4 years back. I was sharing my experiences before and I’m not here to say 100% that’s exactly what will happen now, since I’m pretty sure the doctor/ Nurses will advise you on that. I was also actually provided painkillers after the surgery to take only if it hurts (I didn’t need it). So I’m sure, it’s not just the eyedrops that I took home with me

Here is the TRUE story of someone I know...


In Nov 2018, the patient went for Epilasik to correct myopia. Prior to the procedure, the patient did not suffer from any eye issues. After the procedure, the patient's life was turned topsy turvy by a host of eye issues the patient suffer till date. The patient's eyes

a) became hypersensitive to light
b) tear daily whenever the patient uses the PC excessively which affected her work.
c) suffer from fluctuating and blur vision, which means the patient can't see small words on my PC from time to time which also affected her work.


The patient also had to be hospitalized twice this year for cornea abrasions and conjunctivitis.


The procedure wrecked havoc on her life. Her eyes will act up with new issues like sudden swelling of the eyelids, etc. every few weeks, or even days. The patient have to take time frequently away from work to rush to see the Dr, be hospitalized or rest at home.


Her situation is exacerbated by the fact that her job requires her to use the PC all the time and be in an air-con office which worsen her severely dry eyes.


It has been 10 months and the patient is nowhere near recovery.


It resulted in so much emotional distress that the patient attempted suicide by a drug overdose and had to be hospitalised.


Warning to the public: Please think carefully before going for any elective aesthetic procedures as the side effects may leave you worse off than before! Although some of the risks maybe low, but if you happen to be the unlucky one, the side effects can be fairly dire. Doctors also may not inform their patients of risks that are rare, and they will not be blamed for it.

Rarely checked patient's eye pressure while prescribing steroid eyedrops for several months.

Patient's eye pressure increased and resulted in blurring of vision.

Patient asked if the blurring could be due to other causes apart from the poor cornea surface, ophthalmologist maintained that it was because of it.

Finally patient had to point out that it could be due to the eye pressure, which ophthalmologist didn't check.

Ophthalmologist in a Public Hospital
Informed that steroid eyedrops should be prescribed under strict supervision.

Make it a point to check patient's eye pressure at every consultation while on steroid eyedrops.

Did not know how to treat the patient's dry eyes after the 2nd hospitalisation.

Prescribed a range of eyedrops that were not essential to patient's eye condition.

Did not whether to use a more potent eye drop or place plugs in tear ducts. Claimed he needed his senior, the founder of clinic, to see the patient first. But the appointment was 4 weeks away. Meanwhile, the patient's condition deteriorated further.


Founder of the clinic, opted to remain silent while he was CC in patient's distress emails. He also refused to refund money for the epilasik procedure, which patient needed for the long-term/lifelong eye treatment. Clinic has been waiving the consultation fee since Feb but patient does not dare to return for treatment given the repeated lapses. Founder of the clinic claims that they have done their best for the patient.

Warning to the public: Well-known pte clinics may not always have the best service level and clinical practices.

I have just done my lasik last thurs. I didn’t do to perfect eyesight because the doc reccomend to gv alittle allowance for future long sighted as I’m over 35year old. One eye is 50deg one eye is 75deg. But I feel the 75 deg I can’t see well although is just 25deg difference. Is this normal? And the main concern is I have very serious headache especially when I focus sth like looking at excel or data on computer. Is this normal? Anybody same as me?

give some time for your eyes to adjust. long hours at computer = eyestrain.
go to an optometrist who can do the test and troubleshoot/find out your needs and i believe a pair of computer glasses will solve your problem

Hi I did mine at eagle eye. Is fast n painless. Within 15min n is done. I did the bladeless one.
Dr Julian Theng did for me too. I quote friend to entitle $200 discount. How did u all manage to get $400?? So good.

As promised, herewith the eye evaluation with Clearvision:

My appointment was 10am on 19th Oct 2019.

1st step: 0950am registration form, tick the referral from friend/family. No further questions asked.

2nd step: using 5 different machines, to check cornea thickness (right 556, left 562), current degrees, eye pressure, cornea curvatures, any eye infection.

3rd step: using old alphabet reading test machine to determine the exacts degrees and checking the current specs power (current is 6.00 on both). But apparently they have changed; right 5.50 with 0.25 astig, left 5.75. And my dominant eye is the left one!

4th step: eye drops to dilate them.

5th step: watching the video on a really comfy sofa and sign the post lasik evaluation check list and understanding the risks involved. Plus checking the eye dilated process.

6th step: check the eye power again after eye dilated.

7th step: eye evaluation payment, the patient before me was paying $5 instead of $37.50 since he went to the clearvision talk. My turn, I told the lady that I'm going this Tuesday for the talk and if i also could pay $5 only. She checked and said can! Woohooo.. Then she referred me to Dr Ho's mount E clinic 03-08, went there & passed my form to the counter lady. Waiting, all 20 seats are fully taken!

8th step: using the machine in the dark room looking at the blue light with red light behind, this is to determine how big is my optical zone. She didnt tell me how many mm my eyes are. Note: Schwind Amaris 1050RS has 6mm-8mm optical zone.

9th step: see Dr Ho, he was answering all of my printed questions, even though he was slightly in hurry, he seems still relax and answered truthfully. No worries about presbyopia in the future. All and all my eyes are very suitable to use this machine. YAY! Finished at 1pm.

Referral name discount is SGD180 according to the FB page staff but the staff there saying SGD60, but they honored the SGD180 after screenshot my conversation with their FB page staff. They didn't ask the referral name.

Total time: 3 hours 10mins

Appointment to do the surgery is on 25th Oct 2019. Wish me luck, guys!

About a year ago, I was torn between EEC and Atlas eye. They were actually recommended by friends and colleagues. But it happened that I discovered that my aunt had the same treatment with EEC and she wasn't happy about it (considering her operation happened 2 yrs ago with them).

I had my surgery with atlas eye btw, and I would say Dr David Chan is great handling my case(before to post-op). He's also attentive answering my question that time a week after my operation.

Hi guys, went for RelexSmile over the weekend. Very pleasant experience. very fast procedure and now no need specs. just need to spend some time putting eye drops every hourly, 4hrly. I think the worst part of the whole thing was not being able to wash my hair/bathe for 48hrs. Didnt tear as much as I thought. Doctor help to put a bandage contact which i think really help the comfort a lot.
