Lasik eye Surgery

Guys, I had an interesting experience today. See if anyone has the same experience.

I did my LASIK assessment at Shinagawa with Dr Lee Sao Bing. While I have been assessed to have dry eyes, Dr Lee said there's no issues for me to get LASIK, just that I will have drier eyes for a longer period of time, need to be more diligent with the eye drops etc. No issues with this.

What's interesting is, my current pair of specs has degrees 250 (left) and 200 (right). However, after I did my eyesight test twice just now, I was assessed to have degrees 175 (left) and 150 (right). Dr Lee actually told me, what I can try is to make another pair of specs with the lower degrees, compare and see which one I like better.

Has anyone experienced this level of discrepancy when it comes to eyesight check? How is it possible that my degrees got much lower, yet my current pair of specs is giving me perfect view?

Good morning all, anyone able to share referral code for Dr Julian Theng and Dr Lynn Yeo please?

Was assessed not suitable for Lasik due to Cornea thickness of 500, -7.75 diopter and -2.5 astig… Hence now looking at ICL..

Just did my Lasik at EEC with Dr Julian Theng!
As everyone mentioned, the waiting time for Dr Julian Theng is long but I wanted him to do it so no choice.

Did my consultation and lasik on different days because I wanted to digest before jumping into it.

Slept the whole day after surgery. Next day went back to remove the lens and was told the left was 6/6 but the right was 12/6 but expecting for vision to slowly improve.

4 days post-ops. everything is pretty clear except for dry eyes. My vision gets cloudy when I stare at the computer for too long.

Also was told 1 week follow-up and 1 month follow-up will be done by another doctor. Not sure if that's the usual practice. Does anyone know?

Yes, the follow up is done the day after, one week and one month later. one day after is done by the surgeon that did the surgery, one week and one month is by other dr. Hope this helps.

No prob! Remember to let your eyes rest as much as possible and put those eye drops frequently.
Yup those follow ups are usual practice to make sure your eyes are healing properly.

1) is there any eye drop for persistent dry eyes?
2) is there any long term treatment for dry eyes.

Yeah seems like dry eyes but should gone by a year or so. Think mine took ~1year?
But like what johnny said, i think better to ask the doctor. Can call their hotline if got concerns or schedule some appt with the doctors. Their hotline people are quite helpful. (My personal experience from EEC).
