i did the first op already.
to create the hole
2nd op next week.
to insert the lens
how can degree change?
we are adults not kids
the eyes are already not in a condition to insert the lens after the laser.
the laser already caused the eyes to tear when focusing on the light.
the difference is 5days between the 2 ops.
5days is not even enough to custom make the lens.
its easy to find lasik docs but not ICL docs.
or should i say docs who are specialised in doing ICL.
My friend is told by her friend who is a Lasik Doctor that actually the skill of the doctor is not that important. More important is the equipment that matters! Also doctors usually only sell the part about the pros but often don't like to talk too much about the cons and failure cases.
What do u think? A doctor telling her friend like that...
Anyone who has done lasik or ICL (latest technology of contact lens implant which is preferred by US army)?... please share!
Any talks/forum recently? I want to attend!
ICL article
Refractive Surgery Outlook: May Feature
Day 1 post ICL follow up
1 eye tested 6/9 the other 6/12.
Doc say very gd result.
expected to improve over next few days
ohh... so its not immediate.. would take some days to adapt?
Of cos. What do you expect?
Its impossible to expect immediate correction.
Even lasik can't do it.
What more ICL.
But ICL gives better result than lasik.
The brain and eyes need to get used to a foreign body- the ICL.
As doc said, vision will sharpen over next few days.
And its true.
Next week follow up doc will test vision again.
So hows the whole procedure like? maybe u could share more...
and hows your feeling now?
