Think he's referring to the one where you need to place $1k for every $10k of FD promo. The EIR is certainly not 2.9%.May I know, where do you see this ? I can only see 2.85% pa

Thank you
This one a bit tricky.Singlife (wif monthly top-up of $800) still 3.5% no change leh, for first $10K![]()
Cannot start wif 10KThis one a bit tricky.
If this month top up $800, and grand total just just under 10k,
then next month cannot top up $800 anymore, cos grand total will be above 10k, and so not eligible for 3.5%.
Correct?
how to get multiple accounts? is it tied by username password?Cannot start wif 10K
I start wif ~ $8.4K
I’m controlling multiple accounts.
I saw the isavvy FD is 2.85% for 36 monthsNo one see the Maybank FD for 36mths @2.9%pa.
Nice finding,Those with $1m can try the RHB premier plus,

I opted to forgo the 0.5 and just put in 10k on cycle start date. The Singlife is a bit complicated
If my account had been $0,
For current cycle I top up $800
- I earn 3% on this $800
2nd cycle I top up another $800
- I earn 3.5% on balance $1600
3rd cycle I top up another $800
- I earn 3.5% on balance 2400
Is my above understanding correct ?
- the 3.5% from 2nd cycle onwards is on full balance in account or only applicable to the incremental top up amount ?
If you start with 8.4k, means you can do 2 cycles?Cannot start wif 10K
I start wif ~ $8.4K

Yes. I do the same.I opted to forgo the 0.5 and just put in 10k on cycle start date.
Like that does it means for the 10k, you get :I opted to forgo the 0.5 and just put in 10k on cycle start date.
Good question. Check your top up tracker value?Like that does it means for the 10k, you get :
1st cycle get 3%
2nd cycle get 3.5% even if no top up $800 (?)
3rd cycle onwards get 3% (if no more top up $800)
Your understanding is correct. The Singlife is a bit complicated
If my account had been $0,
For current cycle I top up $800
- I earn 3% on this $800
2nd cycle I top up another $800
- I earn 3.5% on balance $1600

Totally agree. Few dollars not worth the effort. I just leave 10k there for 3%. Still goodYour understanding is correct.
You earn the 3.5% on the whole balance (up to 10k).
In fact if you are willing to add another step, you can do this:
1st cycle credit day: top up 10k.
2nd cycle credit day - 1 day: withdraw 9k (nett deposit becomes 1k).
2nd cycle credit day: top up 9k (balance becomes 10k).
The breakeven using this method, compared to leaving 10k for 3.0%, is about 4 months.
Tbh only a few dollars. May not be worth the effort.
