Just watch lots of Korean movies with English subtitles, you will automatically get the meanings of words and sentences, believe me it’s very nice, easy and simple way to learn Korean language with entertainment.

Annyeong.. First time posting here. I always love korean drama, but cant seems learnt the language after watching so many shows. Recently my friend jio me to register at Ganda Korean Sch for Basic 1.

Anyone know what the different between CC and those outside school? Both same 10lessons but price cheaper by half.

I took beginners korean at Toa Payoh CC about 2 years ago. Class size as about 35 students. If you go to a private language school, it will be about 15 students. I think its a case of you get what you pay for.

If you are not sure if korean is for you, taking it is a CC is a good cheap way to find out.

Good luck!

NUS Extension re-locating

Its official. Nus extension is relocating on 16 July 2012 to

National University of Singapore
10 Kent Ridge Crescent
Block ADM, Level 6
Singapore 119260

Very far away for me cos i live in the north and who wants to take countless buses? Why did they have to move from Park Mall? :(

Just wanna check,

I signed up for the lessons at cc with a friend. We're taking elementary 1 now.

Once we complete this and elementary 2, can we go ahead with TOPIK? which level should we go for ? Do we need to go for the preparatory class then we can take the TOPIK ? or can we just register and take ?

Depends on the amount of grammar/vocab you have covered in your classes. You can ask your korean teacher for more advice. You do not have to go for preparatory class. Just register and take.

So far so good.. 8th lesson next week.

1 thing I don't understand is when to use the 을/를...

을/를 - objective particle; append to nouns when coupled with action verbs
if there's batchim, use 을, else 를.

eg:
지금 텔레비전을 봐요. (watching television now)
보도를 먹어요. (eat grape)
