The NDSL is quite a decent one considering its pricing.
Only thing is keep on and off your ndsl wouldn't be good to it.
:(

my poor ndsl.. disappeared in my house. some couple months ago. Yesh. It disappeared. Turn the whole house upside down, and still can't find it..

hurhurhur..

Wanna buy a dictionary from Japan? Buy mine!

Or, for other models, I charge only 30SGD. ;)
So cheap and convenient. Hehe!

But, honestly, you don't need to spend on dictionaries that cost a few hundred dollars.

Buy mine. Only 120 with EMS shipping to Singapore. You get it in 2-3 working days.
The C35 has an English dictionary which is good when the Japanese->English dictionary throws up an English word you do not know. You can use the JUMP function to get the meaning of the English word.

The C35 is compact and can be kept in your pocket. Good when you are on the bus listening to Japanese songs and you want to check the meaning of the lyrics.

Before deciding on C35, I was thinking of getting the Sharp PWM800. It is also small and pocketable but it does not have an English dictionary and the cover is rather weak. The LCD cracks easily. The C35 has an aluminium backing on the cover that reinforces the LCD.

no sales thread here, please.......

only japanese people and naturalized japanese will have names in kanji. each kanji name will only have one specific way of pronunciation. thats why foreign names are always spelt in katakana.

what does your chinese name sound like when it is pronounced in japanese?
