How different is N1 and N2 from the current JLPT 1 & 2 ? (Dimitri should know )

What are the new books that are good now ? In compliance with the new syllabus.
(Since Dimitri is importing books again. :X)

Need help in grammer

Seems that this thead is very quiet nowadays! Where are all of you?

Can someone explain why 心清き人 is used? I thought 清い人 is the correct use of い-adjective. Why is 心清き also acting like an adjective?

Sorry I'm a noob, but when you all just start learning japanese, how do you all memorise the hiragana and katakana? Cause I just started lessons and I'm finding a suitable method

1. Listen in class and do the homework
2. Get your own square notebook(pri. sch. chinese type) and write each character about 50 times
3. Find phrases to write 50 times(do phrases help one to remember individual characters better?)
4. Stare at the chart and recite to yourself
5. Read elementary japanese books

If you could, kindly give me details of your training regime Like how many times you wrote each character a day/books you read/shows you watched/ etc. etc.

Writing each character would help more IMO ^^.

for kids course, inoue school has lessons for kids. so does ikoma and aoba language school.


For full time courses, it seems like only Ikoma, Aoba and Cambridge Lanaguage Centre provides full time courses.

Inoue and cambridge language centre provides "study in tokyo" courses for periods ranging from 6 months to 2 years. i'm not really sure about the cost... coz i didn't call up and ask.

U should use the whole word "Japanese" instead of "Jap", as it sounds discriminatory, and definitely a racist word when used in some countries.
