Passed my Ele 1 at Bunka.... don't know want to continue or not..... feedback from classmates also said Bunka pace quite fast.... :o

Sometimes I ask myself, do I want to be able to speak Japanese so well on the phone or face to face that native speakers cannot even tell IN 3-4 years OR 5-6 years or very long long time, do I want to be able watch drama or anime without subtitles in 2 years ?

Learn fast, enjoy the fruits fast. If u think Ele 1 is hard, what about the rest after that before u reach PA1 ? PA1 is where u get to practice real speaking skills after Int4.

There is always the option to revise your Ele1 stuff before u start your Ele2 classes. [ But be sure to sign up, pay to ensure your seat is confirmed 1st to avoid long waiting time for gd class timing ]

Agree, I did think about it also before I embark on my Japanese learning.
but on a second thought, maybe its also good for learners to sometimes take a pause and reflect.

Questions I would ask some of my students are:
Is it too tiring, is it your interest? what is your motivation of studying Japanese?

if you are feeling burnout, maybe it's good to take it a slower pace and self study in between. But in most cases i have seen, the moment the learners slow down, they may stop completely.

lastly, if you feel that learning Japanese is not your cup of tea early, its good to drop early also then to drag yourself to school and doing homework :D

I found him very good also, the way he teaches really makes you think and understand alot, although sometimes dun really have enough time to copy down what he says.

Besides him, any other sensei would you recommend for int 1-4?

ya i picking up jap. I plan to go to bunka and start my class in early dec.

Anything i can do now to prep for the classes? i learnt jap for approx 9 months before. But that was 7 years ago. So i think i am as good as a beginner now though i do know some basic daily conversation.

Anyway, is Bunka the better place to learn Jap in Singapore ? JCS seems slow. How much are JCS lessons anyway? Not alot of people learning at Ikoma also
