Tips on passing JLPT 4 2012

Hi hi みんなさん,

おはようございます。

I really like that this thread is very active!

I am planning to do self-study for Japanese language. And I need some help.

I last obtained JLPT 4 in 2000 (which is equivalent to the new JLPT 5 syllabus now), and did 2 basic modules of Japanese (up till LAJ2201) in NUS.
I am currently re-revising my Minna no Nihongo Elementary 1-2 Main Textbook and Translation & Grammatical Notes in English.

Would like to know for JLPT 4 level, what would I need to know for the vocab, grammar and sentence forms in order to pass?

For grammar and sentence forms, is this enough or are they way off the mark?
learnjapanese.com/grammar/
tanos.co.uk/jlpt/jlpt4/grammar/
(pls add www in front on your own as I am too noob to post links in my posts. zzz...)

Any useful websites on learning when to use particles like に、で、が、は、を、へ etc?

ありがとうございます。

You can try this for particles.

For JLPT N4:
Estimate number of vocabulary: 1500 words
Estimate number of grammar points: 120+119 (JLPT N5)

Dear all,

I intend to learn how to speak Japanese. But not the writing part.

Where is a good place to start?

Please recommend me courses or self-help books to read.

Thanks :D
