I have written a new Excel program that can automatically generate a random list of vocabulary for self-test based on the corresponding Minna no Nihongo chapter.

I intend to sell this program at $15 (inclusive of additions/new versions all the way to N4 vocabulary)

For those interested, pls feel free to contact me for further information...

For vocabulary and grammar practice: buy the following books to practise.
They are available at Kinokuniya Orchard...

http://www.amazon.co.jp/新にほんご500問-N...UTF8&qid=1458058875&sr=8-8&keywords=日本語能力試験N4

http://www.amazon.co.jp/TRY-日本語能力試験...UTF8&qid=1458058875&sr=8-7&keywords=日本語能力試験N4

For listening, try to watch more dramas. i think that will help a lot.

Good luck.

ども ありがとございます... Think I saw the first book at Kinokuniya... Will check tat out. :D
Not really a drama fan... But will try to watch anime... =:p

How to pass N4 like tat? Silly mistake...LOL!!:s22:

Well, JLPT doesn't need you to write essays or converse anyway.
The test improves your reading and listening skills.
But in Japan, majority of the time is listening and talking in Japanese, I'd just ask a native or check my e-dictionary if i can't read certain kanji.

The listening skills I get from JLPT is only but a small fraction compared to conversing with a native. But the cert is recognized.

the JLPT cover some of the fundamental on the conversational aspects of the Japanese language. For a wider blanket coverage on the conversational skills.

More chit chat, More TV, More Radio!

Good luck! :D

Hello all. Just started my elementary 1 with bunka. Just abit confused with かきます. Example, なまえをかきます。does it mean " to write my name?" or " I write my name?"

I search online, I write my name should be Watashi wa namae o kakimasu?
