Actually the question itself is quite vague.... lol
If u use て-form for this, it has a meaning of continuation (after doing action 1, do action 2), but i didn't say "after", so you can't really use て-form in this sense. so the more appropriate form here would be たり、たりします。

You are right about the たり、たりします。 What is your understanding of this grammar? =)

Just another sharing, since i heard from my new student saying that a particular language school teacher saying that the below 2 sentences, meaning is the same. They are actually different in nuance.

1) このかばんは 私のです。

2) これは 私のかばんです。

たり is like you are only picking up to 3 out of the many activities that took place during the day in no particular order. Like someone asked wat u do today... N u are like maybe read, swim, sleep, go shopping, watch movie, meet up with frens etc... So instd of stating evrything u jus choose 3 of them n use たリ. Hope i m explaining correctly:D

Yes, the meaning is the same but different in nuance.
from the 2 sentences, it should be in the beginner level.
in this level, different nuances are not being taught.

but not in beginners lah, nuances are taught much later.
teaching that in beginners level is too confusing for the students.
