The lady told me that they have kaiwa, reading and JLPT 2 grammar for intermediate and practical grammar for everyday use. Is that true?
I am thinking if above is true, this school is suitable if the teachers are ok.
Thanks for telling me the title of the book. But is it the same as shin nihongo no kiso? appreciate if a link or image of the book can be provided.
I want to check it out.
And Hougang language school, are their intermediate classes good? Because i always thought they are best for elementary studies.
I am really looking for alternatives (read: cheaper schools) as Ikoma is bleeding me dry.

I know きのうのばん/えき/あるいて うち へ かえります。
but dunno whether first 2 /s need to insert any particle.
anybody can help?
Hi, your explaination is correct.. =)PingJun said:Yesterday, I was taking a mock exam.
The mock exam I was taking was actually Year 2002 JLPT 4 exam paper.
There was this question:
A: 「たなかせんせい は どの かた です か。」
B: 「_____________。」
1。 あの めがね の かた です。
2。 とても しずかな かた です。
3。 にほんご を おしえる せんせい です。
4。 あれは たなか せんせい です。
I kept thinking for the appropriate answer & finally think the answer might be either 1 or 4. But, the more I think, the more I find that both answers might be correct.
In the end, I put the answer as "1". The reason is that the question have どの....... So, I believe the answer should have あの / その/ この.......
However, I do not know whether my thinking is right or wrong. So, I need some advice. If I am wrong, can point out my mistake?
Thanks.

Beginner 1-Intermediate 1: JLPT 4
Intermediate 1-Advance 1: JLPT 3
For JLPT 2: Hougang no textbook one... Straight away bring u to topic... Train your reading, vocab, grammer,listening... Shiok right?
Means use JLPT 2 preparation textbooks. =)surfuz said:Straightaway bring u to topic? don't really understand this part. They use real life materials? Newspapers or ...?
Me really not sure which school to continue. It's becoming a headache, thinking i have to "investigate" so many schools by making trips down there personally.
