thanks :D
i cant see the words now coz pc at office dont have jap language feature installed.

I dont understand something....

when to they use kore to koro, sore to sono & are to ano.....
I know kore = this thing near speaker, sore = this thing near listener and are = tat thing over there...

any tutor available? :o

1. これ,それ,あれ、どれ

2. この,その,あの、どの

3. ここ,そこ,あそこ、どこ

4. こちら、そちら、あちら、どちら

What are the differences?

No 1. Refer to the things.

E.G. これ は りんご です。 This is an apple.

No 2. Can refer to either things or people.

Please note that after この,その,あの、どの will always be a noun. This is not the case for これ,それ,あれ、どれ.

E.G. このりんご は おおきい です。This Apple is big.

あのひと は どなた です か。Who is that person over there?

Also, if a question starts with どの......., then the answer must have この,その,あの.

In addition, この,その,あの、どの can specific the thing or person the speaker is speaking about.

E.G. You have a few apples, and I want you to give me one. However, you are unsure which apples I want, so you can say

どのりんご です か。Which apple?

I can say そのおおきい りんご です。 That big apple.

No 3. Is used for places / locations.

No 4. is used for directions. It is also used for places / locations and is much more politer than No 3.

Note that No 4 can also used for people as well and is more politer as well.

E.G. ここ は ほん や です。Here is a bookshop.

ほん や は どちら です か。Where is the bookshop?

こちら は やまだ さん です。This is Mr. Yamada.

u mean monday is ok for you? :D
and for hiragana ... there got 2 'Ji' and 'Zu'

wonder which one should we used?

1) shi + " = ji (じ - ji)
2) chi + " = ji (ぢ - di)
3) su + " = zu (ず - zu)
4) tsu + " = zu (づ - du)

Pronunciation-wise, 1&2, 3&4 are the same, but if you want to type in romaji, it's the one in the brackets. 1&3 are more common, usually 2&4 are only used when the original word is pronounced chi/tsu but the " is added when this word is combined with another word. For example, 付く is pronounced tsuku, but 片付く is pronounce kata-zuku, and the zu is from tsu, ie 4 and not 3.

Q1: In front of きました cannot use ふとくなって. Only a proper verb that is being changed to て form can be used.

HELP! I misplaced my JLPT Test Voucher! I called my school (Ikoma) who told me to call JCS but I cannot get them since afternoon. I think it is not open today. Can I still take the test without the test voucher? My test venue is at National Junior College.
