Personally I prefer either Sharp or Canon.
Currently, am using Sharp model. Quite good.
Sharp now has this new Series, 'Brain', has colors on the dictionary.

i just need hiragan and english one i intend to learn japan all the way till jlpt 1, so i intend to buy a dictionary for usage that will be competent for all like kanji to katakana and english explanation
