is BUNKA holding JLPT 4 prep class?

if not, u may want to consider applying JLPT 4 prep class at JCS... :D

I'm considering that as well... But must get approval and financial support from my parents... :D
It took weeks to convince my mother to let me enrol in Bunka! :s13:

Thanks. :) But it usually takes a long time to convince my parents of anything no matter what good reasons I give.. So I must be extra patient. :s13:

Think to build a stronger case for yourself, you could suggest to pay the $45 registration fee + $2 application form out of your pocket money or savings or salary. and your parents to pay for the prep course..,

Actually for JLPT 4, i don't think there's a need for a prep course, just get the book that keong recommended can le.... of course, in my library, there are better books like

基礎日本語文法教本 (ISBN:475740168X)
どんなときどう使う日本語表現文型200 初・中級 (ISBN: 9784757401747)
All About Particles (ISBN: 9784770027818)

and doing the JLPT papers.

I'm not even prepared for JLPT4, so there's no way I'm taking JLPT3... I'll just start with a small step.

I told my mother about taking JLPT4 and the very first thing she asked was "How much does it cost? Use your own money ah..." -_-; I am already planning to pay the registration fee and all by myself, so about the prep course... sigh. Must wait a bit longer. But I probably have to just self-study. :s13:

Anyway, my sister decided to drag me along to Bugis yesterday, and I took the opportunity to visit the Kino there. :D I looked for the book that keong-san recommended, but I can't find it. There're copies for the JLPT3, 2 and 1 but not 4. -.-; And I saw the book "All About Particles" too. But it's so expensive for a small book! But then again, all the books that I saw at Kino are ex. :s13: Must wait till I save more money... :D

Come join us go register together. =)

I started elementary 1 in late June, and going to take the test to get promoted to ele 2 in the middle of august. The pace of lessons is very, very fast, so it's easy to get lost without self-revision. If I get into ele 2, I should be able to finish it around November.

You should not be cramming your books... Studying Japanese is not just about passing JLPT.

You need to know about 800 words for JLPT 4.

It's better to take classes because the teacher will correct you.
If you study urself, there's no one there to correct you.

N4 is the equivalent of JLPT 3 (1500 words+350 kanji+300 sentence patterns)
