I think the Japan foundation is a good place to source for the dates.

This one is under Los Angeles, but this should apply to all Japan Foundation all over the world so we'll indeed be getting around this period.

Has anyone tried Beyond Language School conversational or pre-adv course before? their website seems nice...and their satoh methods sounds interesting... any comments is very much appreciated! thks!
JCS website says "Results of the test conducted on 6 December 2009 will be released by end-February this year."
Last year the results were also mailed out around this time, a little earlier that some other countries.

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT
For Bunka students only AND on waiting list to start PA2
There is an extra place [ 1 place ONLY ! ] available for PA2 March 6 Saturday class starting NEXT week during 1300-1430hrs, since it's PA2, well, Bunka students should know who is the sensei teaching for that level already so I won't say who.
Officially, the registration for this class has closed, and confirmation smses sent out. But if you are on the waiting list of ANOTHER PA2 class and wish to start your PA2 earlier, this is your chance to transfer your payment over and start on this date.
Call them 1st to confirm the place for yourself 1st, then go there in person [ it's easier for them if you show up, at least you can try to negotiate with the manager on the spot ] to secure it in order for them to do the necessary administrative work.
My friend managed to get in last min after some people dropped out so that's how this info came about. If they ask you how you managed to know, say your friend told you about it. Possibly they may ask if so-and-so is your friend, say yes. In case my friend receives a phone call asking if "your name" is his friend, he will say yes, just for your convenience. Just say thanks when you meet him later in class...
Make it easier for yourself and the staff by going there latest, a few days before and not 1 day before the class starts.

I know from PA2 onwards, it's quite hard to get into 1 class. So those who can make it, pls go for it.

what level u took? Probably they went via levels?Just checked, nothing (okay there were stuff there but not what I was looking for)
