"AS it is cold, please close the window". what i am asking is where should i include the "as" into this sentence.
For example i know that cold is すむい、and also please close the window is まどをしめてください.

Ah! In this case, you can use ~から or ～ので

寒いですから、まどをしめてください

寒いですので、まどをしめてください

As it is cold, please close the window.

Trying to highlight using a simple one for one example since the person asking seems to hv problems in both languages, to aid faster understanding.

The real challenge comes when attempting to do real time interpreting, trying to catch the meaning and speaking the other language [ either listening to english then speak japanese or the other way round ], at that point probably only the best speakers could take care of the conjuctions too, considering the level of strain suffered just trying to get main sentences and meaning correct.

Translating from paper or reading is not so hard for most of those who reach a certain level since the response time needed is much less demanding, and more time to check thoroughly in comparison...

Currently my individual class at Bunka also uses Japanese for Busy People, after finishing another previous textbk. If it is used as basic textbk, strictly covering the contents of the textbk, of course it is definitely not enough. But in the hands of a master, it could be different however...

It's a good book. I started using this book when I embark on my Japanese Self Training Journey

Got ah. Just that it's not in the NJLPT syllabus.

You need to learn it outside syllabus.

Hi. I just attained my Jlpt4(now known as Jlpt N5) cert last mth and i hope to take the Jlpt3(now known as Jlpt n4) exam this year. So i signed up for the Japanese intermediate stage 2 lessons at a CC. May i know is stage 2 too advanced for me and i shld have started from stage 1, or it is the correct stage to start off my lessons for N4 ? And by wad stage do i have to complete in the CC so that i can finish my syllabus for Jlpt n4 ? Thanks hope to hear a reply. Its abit urgent haha.

It's hard for us to advise as u are taking at a CC... Check with your teacher. He/she is the best to advise u.

I vouch for that too. Nakai Sensei is good and I could relate to his sense of humour. Loved going to his lesson. But sometimes his voice a bit "not clear", so if you are learning the language for the very first time, you might want to check how to pronounce the basic a i u e o syllabus from some of your classmates. There must be at least one who isn't learning it for the first time. I personally attended elementary one classes 4 times throughout the years because my Japanese lessons kept getting interrupted by other committments, and when I restart I had to go back to basics.

on a sideline, i'm helping a sensei 招生. lessons are currently available for N2 prep and advanced conversation (really conversation only, good practice for those who find themselves lacking in speaking practice), but beginners' lessons will start in june. can personally vouch for the sensei - interesting lessons and proven results. passed 2級 last year with the sensei's help.
