If i am not wrong, 「私は野球の試合を見ることが好きです。 」 is grammatically incorrect.

Like to share the following with you guys. In this case, both can be used. 「のが」 is more preferred cause it sounds more natural. See the image shaded with the box.

So what are the difference between this book stated above and 初級日本語文法と教え方のポイント [単行本] huh?

I would like to have both books but $$$ issue so any feedback would be kindly appreciated to help me decide which one to buy

hmm. I have a library of books. Also dunno how to recommend. each has their good and bad.
Buy too many books until get scolding from family members le.

Some more answer, this is the best answer i saw so far.

どちらも正しいです。

意味上の違いは、
「野球の試合を見ることが好き」
＝試合を「する」ことではなく「見る」ことが好き、
というニュアンスが感じられる
「野球の試合を見るのが好き」
＝「野球の試合を見る」・・・これをひとくくりとした
行為が好き、という広い意味で使う

したがって、この例文については、
日常的によくある場面として考えるなら
「～のが好き」のほうが自然で、
敢えて「見る」という行為を強調するのでないとすれば、
「～ことが好き」という言い方はぎこちなく、
欧文の直訳のように感じられます。

hi. i wld like to enquire about Bunka School. i passed my jlpt4 exam from last year(learnt it thru private tutoring), am now attending intermediate lessons at a CC. However, i feel that i have forgotten alot of stuff from the jlpt4 syllabus and wld like to take a month to refresh my knowledge of it again. At the same time, i feel that the notes at CC r really sparse and i keep feeling lost and i juz feel like its not going to really help especially when i want to take the N4 exam this year. Was thinking of joining Bunka after re-learning my jlpt4 stuff, but i am unsure about the school there except its v fast paced and the syllabus are taught at a shoter period compared to other schs. Any advice? shld i go Bunka?

oh i want to revise the jlpt4 syllabus myself. However, i am new to the jlpt3/ n4 syllabus so i dunno if its advisable to self-learn. Oh i am very accusmtomed to the Minna No Nihongo bookseries in terms of learning japanese. Do u really tink i shld save $ and self-learn jlpt3 or attend classes? Cuz i am unsure....and i hardly converse in japanese in reeal life cuz almost none of my peers speak japanese.
