1 N1 student passed

2 N2 students that i sent all passed.
1 student got 52/60 for Paper 1. (^_^)

N3 students: 5/5 passed. Highest: 141/180

N4 students: 2 passed. 1 unknown yet.

N5 students: 2/2 passed.

It's not my effort, but it's the students' effort.

Word from my ex-lecturer: Remember to attribute the credits to the students themselves. U are just there to stretch their potential. Knowing they themselves can do it will carry them longer without you. That's your ultimate goal.

Passed my N1 exam.
I must specially thank dimitri sensei for his coaching on N1+N2 grammar, his useful textbook resources which he kindly lent to me to prep for the exams and his advice on how to tackle the N1 exam in terms of time allocation. All of which without I would not be able to pass.

dimitri sensei,
誠にありがとうございました!

Anyone knows how the jlpt scores is tabulated?

Scoresheets says, 19 to pass each section.. But overall is different..

Hmm..

Sorry if this question sounds silly..

Thks in advance!

It means that even if one passes all sections, if one does not meet the minimum overall score, one does not pass.

My weakest section is definitely vocab/grammar...Have to brush up if I want to take N1 next year XD

Any android apps to recommend?

Every level has their own way of calculating the scores. For N1, the hint to passing is inside this. If the vocabulary that you need to know is 10000 and your grammar points is only about 170, which is the one that you should be focusing on? -__-"

I've just passed my N3 (did pretty well for reading, not so ok for grammar) and I'm looking for reading materials that are somewhere between N3 and N2. In primary school my Chinese improved greatly after developing a reading habit and I'm hoping that I can do the same for Japanese.

What I have in mind:

1. Vocab level between N3 to N2 (hoping to hit N2 next July)
2. Furigana so I can check up the meaning of new kanji in the dictionary
3. Preferably fiction (maybe japanese folk tales for kindergarden kids haha)

I will hunt around online and in Kinokuniya this weekend but was just wondering if anyone here has titles to recommend.

should be somewhere between 100XX to 103XX
anyway you still need the 8 number password to check your results online...
