I am glad to see so many clear their JLPT.

Anyway, due to other interests and commitments, I have to sell my recently bought dictionary in June.

This is a 2012 model. The color is Red hot, and I got the leather cover bought separately as well.

It is hardly used, less than 5 times so the condition is 10/10. But since it is an imported good, there is definitely no local warranty, and Casio Singapore does not bring in any Japanese dictionaries too.

XD-D6500 -

Both the dictionary and case costs me around $500, but I am willing to let go at $470. No lowballers please, be a true gentleman or lady.

I recommend interested parties to be at least N3 and above, but it is still up to you.

Please reach me at 97338363 Zane to deal. Thank you.

Dear comrades!

I am pleased to announce that the JUGAS – Ishizaki Foundation Scholarship 2013 is now open for application.

(JUGAS)

Introduction of Kwansei Gakuin University
Kwansei Gakuin University was founded in 1889 by Dr. Walter Russell Lambuth, an American missionary from the Southern Methodist Church. Kwansei Gakuin University has had a long tradition of accepting international students and an openness to internationalization, as shown by the large number of international teaching staff on its faculty. Globalization has encouraged large numbers of our students to study aboard as well as facilitated the inward flow of international students into Japan. Kwansei Gakuin University has long been highly receptive to international students, while its School of International Studies (SIS) has planned from the outset to have a vibrant English speaking international student community on campus.
We expect the international students who express an interest in studying at Kwansei Gakuin University School of International Studies to become “world citizens” who support and serve not only their home country but also utilize their knowledge and experiences gained at Kwansei Gakuin University for the benefit of humanity as a whole.

Just attended a trial N2 lesson with Dimitri_can today and I hope to share my experience on this forum.

N2 is not for the faint-hearted and there was alot of grammar material to cover. Considering the fact that I haven't been studying Japanese since my N3 exam in July, I was very rusty but Dimitri was patient. Having self-studied my way till N3 I did not have any pronunciation practice but he corrected my pronunciation on a number of occasions and let me repeat that sentence to make sure I understood. Must thank the class for bearing with me too!

Another thing I liked about Dimitri's lessons was that he gives us plenty of tips on how to tackle the JLPT such as the grammar forms that are likely to appear. For some new grammar forms, he would also show us how it might be tested in the exam.

He also gave us tips on how to get reading material and pronunciation/reading practice which was useful. We did comprehension exercises and he went through the passages with the class. Dimitri will also answer students' questions to ensure that everyone can understand what he is teaching.

In conclusion I intend to take lessons under Dimitri to further my Japanese learning. :))

For exam. One of my N2 students complained to me that i should not ask them to read aloud fast. After the lesson, we went out to have a meal with my Japanese friends. They were speaking so fast that he couldn't catch most of what they were saying, after that, he came and tell me,
"Sensei, you are right. I need to learn how to read aloud a passage fast"

reading aloud is better than silent reading. brain can process the passage easier. tho it's quite impossible to do that during exam...

reading aloud is to train your spoken skills. and also to train your hearing.
during my class last time, my teacher read aloud a passage with her normal speed, and made us follow her. and she never slowed down. that was good training.
