$285? Really good price to buy, as of now, many similar model of other brands out to the market, more choices for consumers. Good

Sent from Samsung SM-T700 using GAGT

How's is battery life on this? Considering on getting used phablet to pair with old phone or just a giant phablet with dual sim. Don't see much users of this phone out there, plus mi max is tempting except no warranty and global rom(yet)

Phab and phab plus are 2 different models leh. Phab's specs cmi lar. 720p on a almost 7 inch screen means only around 220ppi so no thank you.

$199 is quite wallet friendly for a brand new local warranty set. or, $299 for a PHAB plus. Is there any product at this category and price point ?

Xiaomi max $299 after using discount code on lazada if you can do without local warranty. Smaller size but more ram/internal storage and much larger battery. Sure, $199 is an ok price if you need a simple phablet without fancy specs. But once you are used to full hd screen, you really cant go back to 720p especially if you use the device for gaming or watching of movies.

299 for a phab plus would be nice
it was 499 (when it was relase)

Today, I'm still using it as a tablet sub
only setback (as i play games), SD615 + 2gb ram is kinda hard

I just checked Harvey Norman JP...

Phab is at $199, Phab Plus is at $399. I was hoping to get the Phab Plus at $299 but the salesman said that was an offer quite some time back. I think I'll settle for the Phab then. I checked it out. Pretty decent lar even at 720p for a 6.98" screen.

Note that the Phab screen is actually larger than the Phab Plus screen. I also noticed that on the two display sets, the Phab's screen is very much brighter at maximum brightness level compared to the same level on the Phab Plus. The holo live wallpaper could not be seen in the Phab Plus screen. I don't know if it's a fault with the Phab Plus on display or what...

Anyone using the Phab? Can give some feedback?

Anyway bit the bullet and bought two Lenovo Phab as gifts... testing the phones... the screen looks pretty good actually. Even though just 720p on a 6.98" screen, the quality is good. Cannot see the pixels. It's really good enough... updated the phones to 5.1.1 already. OTG is available. Plugged in a 64 GB thumbdrive. Played back a full HD movie flawlessly. YouTube of course restricted to only 720p cos of screen resolution. So far so good. Haven't tested the SIM slots yet. I paid $37 for extra one year 1-to-1 exchange for a total of two years warranty. First year repair, second year direct replacement with whatever model the Lenovo Phab has become... with the extra warranty, they threw in a silicon cover with screen protector. The other freebie was a clear hard plastic back cover with ear phones. Choose between this or the silicon cover with screen protector. Got both with the top up for second year warranty.I think they're trying to get rid of stock. Phab 2 Pro already announced.

Does anyone know if any shops taking in used Phab Plus (still under warranty)? Most of the online regulars don't offer a quote for it
