To be honest, I find the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 pricing to be on the steep side at $1899. Or maybe is only me because my budget for a 14inch laptop is around $1400. With the incremental of 1 more inch it is actually going to be almost 500 more

But then this comes with 4k UHD touchscreen, so probably that’s the reason why it comes with a higher price tag.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD Touchscreen ? The video inside like they are not using the touchscreen feature or does this have intel realsense camera? They are enjoying the laptop keyboard more~ :s22:

Look like they are more enjoying the massive pixel density and excellent vibrancy of 4K resolution when playing the racing game on Dell Inspiron 15 7000.

Well, hopefully the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 can then play multimedia and game at 4k and not only HD resolution since they give consumer the option to change their display. Medium detail is fine. After all its a notebook, cant compare it to regular gaming PCs.

This Dell Inspiron 15 7000 also have backlit keyboard, and it claims to be spill resistant too!

gaming at 4k res will be damn song. tho i dun think will be any time soon.

If the picture is right, the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is really sleek and awesome but the price tag needs to be properly thought across to attract buyers

4K UHD Touchscreen leh. You pay for what you get. But the Truelife UHD is optional according to the Dell website.

Anyway seems like Dell has multiple models for their Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Series. From their video looks its its definitely not the laptop and tablet in one since it does not have the hinges.

http://pilot.search.dell.com/15 7000

Its probably this model with the same price at $1899.

Looking at the specs, seems like it can deliver powerful and high performance. Battery life seems quite long too.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 new model, so battery life good wor

After some time sure drain like mad after a few months

Is Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD touchscreen underpowered with Intel i5 processor ? As I see from Dell Singapore website, AMD Radeon R7 M270 4GB DDR3 is only an option GPU.

With Windows 10 Home and without Window Hello, I guess their OS need a badly upgrade to fully utilized the system.

Oh just saw new video for the week.

The Inspiron 15 7000 Series features the first 4K Ultra HD display option. The large 15.6 display is perfect for photo editing, graphic design and maximum productivity for professionals on the go. With 5th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, Windows 8.1 display

With such specs, of course the one w/o will crash harder!

Its Windows 10. 6th Gen Intel i5 and i7 Quad-Core processors too.

Should be this model

The one in the video is probably the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 hibiscus red colour.

Although Dell promises a long battery life with the Dell Inspiron 15 7000, I still wonder how much of a difference will it be compared to using a HD vs 4k UHD Touchscreen or even touch screen vs non touchscreen. Gaming on 4k will definitely consume power with the 2 large fans spinning rapidly to keep it cool.

Perhaps just get the Dell Power Companion battery just to be safe :s22:

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD Touchscreen no removable battery like macbook~?

i think that laptop have removable battery better as i would just use this large screen laptop at home and maybe a few times outside when needed~

at home if i plugged in the power suplly charging battery 24/7 wonder will it shorten the battery life

dell_inspiron_7000_4_311222501706_640x360.jpg

the same thoery as built in battery for smartphones for now~ now all built in to save cost & increase more profit for future maintenance fee to like charge by Dell if to replace the battery which is built in

The reason why Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is steep side because it using I7 + 4K screen come with NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5.

If your budget dont allow you to purchase 7000 series you can opt for cheaper 3000 series or 5000 series

Inpsiron 7000 15" don't have realsense. However for a $1900 laptop with uhd touch screen and quad core Skylake and dedicated 940m gpu is reasonable spec bump from previous model. The older version comes with dual core broadwell and AMD r7 m420 at $2000. So we get a tangible 2 to 3 times faster processor speeds!

One improvement I feel It needs dual channel memory setup instead of single channel.

No Realsense is very sad with $1900. Imagine now that we are all talking and watching what it can do on gaming, then buy back Inspiron 15 5000 Series (Intel®) Motion no such sensor.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is the new in thing wor~ At least can show friends what finger gestures all about when interacting with pc :o
