Dell is a big company and few sets of Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with Intel RealSense 3D Camera won't break their marketing budget.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD touchscreen definitely will use alot of power so when gaming must plug in to the wall socket otherwise halfway you game the laptop crash.

Dell Inspiron i5 7000 is an ultra portable with such good battery life but Dell Inspiron 15 7000 is 2.6kg is consider lightweight or heavy weight?

For me >1.8kgs consider heavy, but if this Dell Inspiron 15 7000 battery can last for 8 hours and above, still can consider to carry around..

no matter how good a laptop is, if there is not enough battery power and you are not charging it with powerbank or its not plugged into wall socket the laptop will still crash or power off.

Beside Immigration department, I think finiancial sectors like bank can can also use Intel 3D RealSense Camera with Intel® RealSense technology to capture their customers detail.

the only function i can think of for banks is to put the Intel RealSense 3D camera using Intel Technology at the atm machine. other than this i dun see why they need to have such camera.

Normally, i discount big big when they say saying 'long battery life' on Dell Inspiron 15 7000. Same like all smartphones keep touting the phone has been optimized greatly to last for a day.... end up 2-3months later start to see a big decrease in battery life day after day Maybe only Sony is really long lasting tho i have never own that phone before

This should be user problem, nowadays most of user using their device while charging.

Yes Dell Inspirion 7000 has the latest Intel Skylake processors for faster speed and less crashes!

Although Dell promises a long battery life with the Dell Inspiron 15 7000, I still wonder how much of a difference will it be compared to using a HD vs 4k UHD Touchscreen or even touch screen vs non touchscreen. Gaming on 4k will definitely consume power with the 2 large fans spinning rapidly to keep it cool.

Perhaps just get the Dell Power Companion battery just to be safe

Maybe try to game with AC power.
You surely do not want power to be cut off while in the middle of a game.

Well, use while charging is not good to the battery, this like make battery become a conductor to transfer the charge instead of storing....this practice also caused the battery become hotter......May be my understanding is wrong..

If i buy Dell I hope it can last 5years too! Anyone bought Dell laptop before knows if they are long lasting

I use Dell Precision for almost 4 years and counting more. It allows me to upgrade ram and ssd by taking off some screws. It is still working so you can say it is long lasting. The gpu did break down twice, but a call to Dell, the next day they come down and replace with a working one.

I will only buy Dell and their pro support for my work laptop, as I cannot afford the down time.

Compare between Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with Dell Inspiron 15 7000, I will choose Dell Inspiron 24 7000 as it has Intel RealSense 3D camera with Realsense Technogy.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 looks good for its 4K UHD touchscreen which this might be one of their selling point.
