Based on my current requirements, i would choose Dell Venue 8 7000 or Dell Inspiron 15 7000.

The Intel RealSense with Windows Hello doesnt really appeal to me since im already using WOL magic packet to wake my PC when my mobile phone gets connected to home Wifi using Tasker.

Dell Venue 8 is tablet, so I wouldnt mind having an extra device which I dont own. It can take depth photos with distance so I guess thats an extra plus point to me.

For Dell Inspiron 15 7000, I dont have a laptop for school and admittedly it is quite troublesome when i appear emptyhanded when meeting for projects.

I still prefer their Vostro line.....

Oorrhh. Do you know if the spare parts they bring to replace the spoiled part is a brand new one or refurbished set?

Just like when the iphone is spoiled, they giving all brand new phone when doing 1to1 exchange huan

The parts they replace can be refurbished set(unless they state warranty will use brand new parts) you also wont know as long as it work

I think it is always wiser to sacrifice a bit of battery space and bad acoustics relying on just single fan for much better cooling. They are not the only company doing so. I think it is a sounding implementation.

does the 4k UHD Touchscreen runs hot during operation? is this 4k UHD using IPS or LED or OLED or AMOLED?

Dell Inspirion 15 7000 is IPS screen. screen definitely wont create heat more than your CPU & GPU

With experience from the Kinect v2, I know that we need to power on the device for about 20-40 minutes for it to thermally stabalise before we could get reliable and accurate results for depth. This may be more due to the ToF nature of

the Kinect v2, but it could also perhaps be a reason why one is getting vastly different distances between each of the Intel RealSense 3D Cameras. I wonder if 1 could track the z position of the centre pixel over time to see if it is drifting?

Will the Dell Inspiron 15 7000, Dell Inspiron 24 7000, Dell Venue 8 7000 will have the capability to support fully be it extended or inbuilt, need to warm up first or not for the computer or sensor?

Only time will tell you or you owned all this and do the comparison ?!

having two fans always better than one fan as it will cool down your laptop better and too much heat will degrade your electronic parts/battery

2 fans really cool down the system better and last more years?

my current laptop v hot on daily usage and me v sad when bought it as friend commented so hot until cannot put on lap to type... h0wever it didn't die as early as i've anticipated

nowadays all the new laptops only 2 usb ports, no exceptions for the Dell Inspiron 15 7000. abit too little i feel.

Why not get USB 3.0 hub to solve this ?

Such 2 fan design distribute heat much more evenly across the bottom panel and also benefit from more unified single symmetrical airflow....

Just take a look at competing design from Apple with its MacBook Pro...

Meanwhile Dell Venue 8 7000 tablet has the Intel Realsense camera but it is still not the same as the one found on Dell Inspiron 24 7000 promoted here.

looking at the AIO system compared to a normal desktop system which can use water cooling etc. wonder how much heat the AIO system generate and also how it cool the system since the fans can't be that big compared to desktop system.

also during gaming can the AIO handled it well enough to last few hours.

After reading its service manual, you will see that the entire motherboard is located at the base of the stand in a notebook fashion, with fan included there for cooling....
