True. Other manufacturer laptops need to remove everything including keyboard heatsink etc just to clean the fan. I prefer those where you can just take out the cover and remove a few screws and be done with it.

From the image of Dell Inspiron 15 7000 looks like only a few screws but the 2 fans really do really take up a huge chunk of space!

Hope that it can really provide powerful gaming performance.

Indeed i will prefer those that could screw up damn easily.

The dell inspiron 15 7000 dont know how easy to remove chassis

Does Windows 10 Hello... Does that mean i have the hello feature right now in my computer as well?

Do i need to wait to get the Dell Inspiron 24 7000, Dell Inspiron 15 7000 or Dell Venue 8 7000 before i could active it?

Why normal NBD doesn't fix GPU?

Nevertheless $160 is dirt cheap for Pro support given other brands' regular carry-in warranty also cost about as much...

What's the diff anyway?

Yes, 2 years more warranty for Dell Inspiron 15 7000 not bad, quite affordable, hope other brands of laptop can offer such extended warranty

Same like some here, i don't think i will invest in 4k for the captivating experience now where the content are limited. If i buy, i think i prefer to have it for tv than pc/lappy. But the dell Inspiron 15 7000 specs seems not bad, will be good if it comes with realsense 3D camera.

Not a gamer but is there any games in 4k now? Does Oculus Rift support 4k also. Seems a bit over to buy such high end display for gaming?

Ya. At the end of the day is just computer graphics.

I probably wait for a longer period before getting into the 4k bandwagon.. Heard 5k comme out.. As well

nowadays all the new laptops only 2 usb ports, no exceptions for the Dell Inspiron 15 7000. abit too little i feel.

 now all new laptops only give 2 usb ports?? so stingy in today's context imo :vijayadmin:

- wireless mouse dongle
- ext storage hdd
- charging phone / transfer data

Honestly, they could throw in one more port for Dell Inspiron 15 7000 given it has all bells and whistles :o

Most will prefer higher end stuff. I am a desktop person, no need lappy so go for tablet.

I prefer notebook for portability but both the Dell Inspiron 24 7000 and Dell Inspiron 15 7000 doesnt impress me

No, the Dell Inspiron has 3 ports.

Depending on the model either 2 x usb3 + usb2 or 3x usb3

Show of hands if given a choice will you prefer the

Dell Venue 8 7000
Dell Inspiron 24 7000
Dell Inspiron 15 7000

Assuming all comes with windows 10 with hello feature

I would choose DELL INSPIRON 15 7000 mainly because very used to laptop size. My first priority is portability and space saving, yet much more powerful than tablet (Dell Venue 8 7000)

Desktop (even AIO) takes up a lot of space imo :o maybe if i live in big bungalow or have many rooms/space to put all these gadgets then i wouldn't mind at all :(

Actually quite a good deal, the Aftershock SM-15 with similar specs costs $1699, but only has a FHD screen. The Dell Inspirion 15 7000 also looks slim and stylish!

Dell Inspirion 15 7000 has the 4k UHD Touchscreen included. You can choose to opt out of it though. But nobody will want to unless it provides marginal savings for long battery life. :s13:

Anyway it seems that the Red back cover is limited to the FHD screen only. Black black cover has both according to their website.

Make sure you check carefully before your purchase! Dont blindly select red colour because its nice~!
