btw to those who are interested

HWZ, can we redeem this? :o

If you need an ultra high resolution display, Apple's new iMac with 5K Retina display will not be the only option soon. Dell has just announced that its new UltraSharp 27 monitor will go on sale here later in December for US$2499 (around S$3229 at the time of writing).

Here we are talking about 4K. If i could redeem this i can boost to my friend 4K is so yesterday. We are talking about 5K now!!! The UltraSharp 27 also comes with integrated Harmon Kardon speakers that have a combined rated output of 32W. It also features a built-in USB 3.0 hub - one upstream USB 3.0 port and five downstream USB 3.0 ports.

This is 1 hell of a speaker as well!

5120x2880 Ultra HD resolution is so tasty!

lol is there any 5K content at all ?
Hardly anybody will buy this at this price.
Can get a Dell Inspirion 15 7000 with a lot to spare.

Dell XPS 13 dun have the Intel RealSense 3D Camera which i find it strange as the topic is abt Dell computers with Intel RealSense Technology based on the videos.

Dell Inspiron 24 7000 AIO should be the top prize followed by Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD touchscreen and with the option of having Intel RealSense 3D Camera.

Guess HWZ will feature the slim and stylish Dell XPS 13 soon.

Wonder Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (7559) model that listed on Dell sg website will have the same fan noise and overheat issues as Inspiron 15 7000 (7548) model. :s11:

The issues of Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (7548) model:

- Fan would crank on and then off and the cycle of on and off would be repeated even the user do nothing.

- When using anything that puts load on the CPU, the temperature going above it's maximum 105°C

The user mentioned latest BIOS update did not help in solving the problem of Inspiron 15 7000 (7548), even a brand new replacement set also having the same issues. :s22::s22:

Just a sharing, It could be this issue has been overreact. ;) Or may be Dell had fixed the problem after 7548 model. :)

The fan of the Inspirion 15 7000 is noisy ?
How many versions are there for the Inspirion 15 7000?

While Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD touchscreen was not too friendly to bring out to public due to the weight and high heat dissipated from the GPU, using Windows 10 with Windows Hello may also affect the performances of the OS. I guess better stick to Windows 8.1?

Windows 8.1 did not support Windows Hello....so it is up to individual choice.

to be honest, touchscreen for laptop no one will really use. only those convertible laptops (e.g. surface pro, asus t100) then maybe still desirable.

this one i agree. there is no need for 4k screen when the laptop display is only 15". if the display is FHD, then they could come with Intel RealSense 3D Camera and buyers can use Windows 10 Hello.

Furthermore the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 does not come with GTX 980M so the 4k may not be utilised to its max potential.

4K screen would be more suitable for Dell Inspiron 24 7000 or future models with good graphics cards.

Yes I agree too, it is not necessary for the 15" display in the Dell Inspirion 15 7000 to have 4k resolution. FHD screen is better for longer battery life. Whats more, there is not much content in 4k.

Lets Boss to answer you on this later..

I thin it should be on one whole, so far Dell 24 7000 with Intel RealSense Technology and Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD touchscreen are the two key topics.

So what video are you guys expecting next week?
Week 1 – AIO Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with realsense technology and 3d depth- sensing camera
Week 2 – Laptop Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4k UHD screen
Week 3 – I am guessing be tablet Dell Venue 8 7000 coming up, with realsense?

I think it will be Dell 27" curve monitor SE2716H or XPS 13 series.

if you don't game in the public should not be a problem with the heat dissipated but Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD touchscreen dun have Intel RealSense 3D Camera so you can't use Windows 10 Hello.

Really need Intel Realsrnse camera with Realsrnse technology then can use Windows 10 Hello har?

Not everyone will choose Dell Inspirion 15 7000 over a MacBook, except those who really know what they want. =:p

Dell Inspirion 15 7000 win MacBook over many areas. The Dell display is of better quality and has more ram. Better pixel density and better graphics card than MacBook.

I seconded this. :)

Dell should make Inspiron 24 7000 AIO as the top prize followed by Dell Inspiron 15 7000 4K UHD touchscreen and with option of having Intel RealSense 3D Camera.

I also seconded this. Dell Inspiron 24 7000 AIO with Intel® RealSense™ 3D Camera with Windows 10 Hello as top prize and Dell Inspiron 15 7000 4K UHD touchscreen with option of having Intel® RealSense™ 3D Camera.

Most of sexpert bro mentioned Dell laptops is one of most easier device to DIY, so this Dell Inspiron 15 7000 shouldn't be a exceptional case ba. :D

If there is a choice to DIY, then adding an additional Intel® RealSense™ 3D Camera should not be a problem and we can make full use of Windows 10 feature.

i think Dell Inspiron 15 7000 need 2 fans is to cool down both CPU & GPU but usually the fan speed is adjusted automatically depend on the temperature that the temperature sensor detect it if the laptop not hot the fan should be running at lower RPM which will has less noise.

The fan of the Inspirion 15 7000 is noisy ?
How many versions are there for the Inspirion 15 7000?

Fan noise issue was feedback based on Inspirion 15 7000 (7548) model while the one listed in Dell Sg is 7559.

This annoying buzzing/screeching/scratching noise like an old hard drive would do when busy and it is coming from the center area near F7 key

From what I know, there are a few models for this Dell Inspiron 15 laptop:

- Inspiron 15 7000 series Touch; Truelife Ultra HD (7559 4K resolution) touchscreen
- Inspiron 15 7000 series Non-Touch (FHD)
- Inspiron 15 7000 Series 2-in-1. ( 7568 FHD touchscreen)

But when you go to Starbuck or Coffeebeans, you will see most of the teenagers are using Apple products. :)
