May be we will have chance to experience Dell Inspiron 24 7000 and Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD touchscreen at Sitex Show 2015. :D

I think they should, since it is a very good feature.

by then the contest would be over and there is no point to experience Dell Inspiron 24 7000 and Dell Inspiron 15 7000 with 4K UHD touchscreen and Intel RealSense 3D Camera.

Nope, there will be ppl not known of this and good for them to showcase the feature.

What do you think of my chances?
Can only redeem voucher to buy Dell Inspiron 24 7000 with Intel® RealSense™ 3D Camera?

beats mine at least you know you left with what. Looks like high score but my initial post time lagging by alot compared to others.

To think there are  people desperate to pull my points down to climb higher :s13:

Then again, don't give up - you never know.

How to stack? Mean we can redeem more than one voucher? or we can get from others to stack? :s11:

Nope.

Still got further conditions:

"Let's DELL" Contest Policy:

5. Redemption of products is limited to one per NRIC

So there is a chance that 1 person only can redeem 1 prize, i.e. suppose u win the Dell monitor and still have leftover points, cannot redeem the vouchers with the leftover points. But then, we will wait and see if this holds true or is just a legal statement HWZ has to put out there in the T&C.

IMO:
VA panels, anti glare with hard coat 3H display, i will expect no more than 5ms, keeping up the trend with a thin bezel is always good. 2 x 9W is definitely powerful enough and ideal for a speaker for home-environment. Do however, note on the lack of usb, HDMI ports and a height adjustable stand that comes crippled with a lack of VESA mount back.

lets see where the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 stands against this guide on what to look out for when buying a laptop.

1. Pick a Platform: Mac, Windows or Chrome OS?
This is very straightforward. Dell Inspiron 15 7000 runs on Windows OS. So if you are looking to get a laptop with Windows OS, this fits the bill.

2. Choose the Right Size
Apparently 15" laptops are the most popular among consumers. Great size for gaming or media streaming. Tho portability will be an issue.

3. Check That Keyboard and Touchpad
The full size keyboard is great for anyone who needs to use the number pad frequently. The back lit is also great when your surrounding is dim.
The touchpad also offers 2 finger scrolling and zoom pinching, which makes it more convenient for you to browse through your document or web surfing.

4. Know Your Specs
This is a high-end laptop. It boasts the 6th Gen Intel processor, NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5, LCD 15.6" 4K UHD Touchscreen and revolutionary thermal cooling design. Working or gaming on this laptop will not be an issue.

5. Decide if You Want a 2-in-1 or Traditional Notebook
This is a traditional laptop, and a heavy one. So if you are looking for a 2-1 laptop, you will want to skip this.

6. Don’t Skimp on Battery Life
With the 6-Cell Battery in place, the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 guarantees a minimum 7 hours of battery life, slight above average of the standard 6 hours battery life. Tho the down side is that the battery is non removal, so you wont be able to carry a spare one around in case of emergency.

7. Plan a Budget
At 1,099.99 USD, this is not a cheap laptop. Consumers who are on a budget may choose to skip this for more affordable laptops like the chromebook or other lower end laptops.

I have identified 2 other laptops with similar specs as the Dell Inspiron 15 7000. They are the Sager NP7255 Notebook and Acer Aspire Nitro V15 Black Edition. Dell is selling at 1,099.99 USD, while the Sager is at 999 USD and the Acer is at $949,99 USD. Dell is the priciest among the 3, and again, consumers who are looking for similar specs may choose to skip Dell's for the price.

8.Mind the Brand
http://blog.laptopmag.com/laptop-brand-ratings
I have identified Acer and Sager as the direct competitors to Dell for laptops of this specs. As you can see from the link above, Dell is ranked number 2 in branding, while Acer is at 9th and Sager is nowhere to be found. If you are brand conscience, Dell may be the brand you will want to go for.

---

In all, the Dell Inspiron 15 7000 should be a popular laptop among consumers who are brand conscience, in need of a high end laptop for work and/ entertainment and are willing to spend for quality. This laptop is a must have for working adults. Students may find this laptop too expensive and for consumers who are looking for portability, they may avoid this laptop for its weight and size.

In Singapore, people will prefer bigger laptop? Previously in school the most common ones was 14" & below. Occasionally you will see some 15" lurking around as well though but definitely not a popular choice imo.

However, other countries might be. They usually reside in hostel closer to school making lugging them a breeze. :)
