Microsoft and Google very kind to student. Both give free cloud storage which nobody uses :s22: (Onedrive 1tb, Google for Education)

Microsoft no longer generous... They scaled their cloud storage to shitty levels now... Dell gives the users some extra storage on the Dropbox or box, cant remember which, for a year or two nia... But that's for the Area-51... I dont think Dell Alienware 17 R3 has though

So this week video teaser is Dell XPS, family of this campaign 1st prize XPS 13.
From google, wiki, XPS stands for Xtreme Performance System and the name emerged as far back as 1993 and it was for desktop and tower only till now for laptops.
Surprised that it is considered as another powerpacked range of PCs/laptops along side with alienware. Look like Dimension range are more for the mid to low market?

Some history, just realised Dell did not come up with Alienware, they actually bought over the company in 2006 and it took over Dell XPS line in gaming desktops later on while XPS are scaled down to laptops only.

Wow didn't know Dell bought over Alienware.
The XPS series looks good with the world’s first virtually borderless InfinityEdge display.

by the time admins decide to give bonus points, all the hdd would have been redeemed by others and i dun need powerbanks cos i got alot of xiaomi ones. the timing system kinda sux cos even if you put in effort to get bonus points but your timing still late then you lose out. they should reset on the same time everyday for everyone.

can only blame myself for not logging into hwz early everyday.

Not choice, happened to me as well, that why I had reset my timing by stop to post anything for 1 day, after it much easier for me to mange my timing....

Anyway some bros claimed the HDD, no more le....I also aiming that....:(

I'm not really sure now.

I know you are being sarcastic, and to be honest I can't say I'm fine with this.

If thats how you roll in HWC, perhaps will opt out from future campaigns to save myself from all these politics.

surely you can tell he is this kind of person mah. previous contest also like this. got free things and he is not getting the top prize sure jelly. dun need to opt out from future campaigns just ignore him and concentrate to get the top prize.

Kinda disappointed that i am being look in this way. It's not about me being sarcastic and jellying people winning better prize more than me, but rather i think you should give others (not just me) a chance and opportunity to win the top prize since you yourself already won the top prize previously. Surely, you have worked hard and put in lots of effort with all your quality posts and skill thus far, to gain you what you have back then and right now.

I also understand in this world, or more accurately in this country, meritocracy is justified and there's hardly anything to be fair. You worked hard to bear the fruit of labour. Then again, to be frank, who is not greedy here? No one will bother coming here to post daily on the dot if the prizes are not attractive. Initially i also thought i will just win one of the monitors and get contented with it. And trying hard to maintain my position from falling behind too far with more effort. I wish HWZ would create a fair share policy to prevent same individuals or groups to win the top prize consistently, as it will make these campaigns unhealthy on the long run.

And I'm not interested to create any politics nor have any time for that. Life is too short for that.

xiaomi powerbanks are the best and the price is the cheapest. got quite a couple of xiaomi powerbanks from a year ago and they still work.

As you have seen the details of the Power Companion, up to you. I have seen the Bluetooth speaker, its no match for my Braven, JBL or marshall bluetooth speakers.

I would not mind the Power companion, if it had the additional plugs for my Asus. If I can find... I dont mind swapping :p

Not sure if Dell contracted OEM to Creative or not. But, my very very old 2.1 CH speakers from Dell are made by Cambridge Soundworks.

But like I mentioned earlier, the speaker not worth much beo - its really budget series.

Hmm... I wont give the best vote to Xiaomi in all honesty, but the cheapest and most value for money, they got my badge

Looks like not gonna be easy... It uses the big hole with that 6pin connector to power out...

Yup still in pretty well condition for about a year of usage. I just find its current output a tad too low, makes charging slow...

the contest is open to everyone. everyone also put in effort and ohayo did in fact post quite alot of good posts. his posts are informative. seldom did he parrot the whole chunk out of review sites.

in fact you are very lucky that admins are quite lenient this time round cos from the posts that you make, quite alot are parroting from other reviews sites and websites. you should be thankful that you can get 2nd prize.

after we tell you not to do so, you still do it and like one say old habits die hard. it is only after admins warn then you stop doing so and change your way of posting but after awhile still continue for a few posts. you should also stop posting sarcastic posts.

Alienware 15 or 17 laptop also have turbo boost??

All new processor will come with Turbo Boost. It is usually enabled by default in the BIOS so by right nothing needs to be done.

As mentioned before in my earlier post, it will activated when you select "High Performance" it will overclock the speed to the max.

You can check your processor clock speed using tools such as CPU-Z http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html.

If you change your power option profile from Balanced to High Performance, you will see the change in clock speeds immediately.

Hope this helps.
