Uncle beejay if you are reading this, high time you start a vote of no confidence for ottoke since the displeasure towards him is strong. If he has done indeed nothing, i'm sure he can survive a so called vote of no confidence among your moderators or your forum appointment holders. You have over thousands of forumers here and if you minus off some of the trolls, i'm sure you can find someone of quality to be a mod through a more open and simplified selection process.

Yes, no doubt you need moderation work to be done to " clean up" the forums, but if you have mods ( ottoke or not) that blur between the lines of fair moderation or power abuse, would it be fair for your other mods and users as well and at the same time, losing ad revenues because lesser people are coming here?

PS: So where did he go these few days eh? hiding low already? If not usually would seen him trolling at threads where PAI KIA posts or lurks.

In hindsight if I became mod, it would the shortest tenure ever, because EDMW direction is becoming more and more politically correct.

Which is ultimately not the forum I want. Certainly not the forum that ex mods like yueming, flapdoodle or xjedi moderated.

My take is- If he has nothing to hide against all these allegations or accusations, just be open and active here in the forums instead of " going under"lurking after knowing that the heat is on him and goes off into hiding.

The more one keeps silence, the more users are going to smell something is wrong.

i think its a little pathetic if we are all 30+ and whining over a <20 year old's behavior of the internet

but it might be more pathetic how the admins continue to give this <20 year old free reign despite all signs pointing to him having the mentality of a 10 year old

My take is- If he has nothing to hide against all these allegations or accusations, just be open and active here in the forums instead of " going under"lurking after knowing that the heat is on him and goes off into hiding.

Then i do hope beejay and his team " fix" it soon if indeed the allegations and accusations are proven true against him. No reason for them to coverup.

And In fact it's not the first time his name appeared on the feedback forums over his actions i recall..? There were others who were also " protesting" over his actions.

actually i dont think age matters, because we all know age and maturity has no link at all, some teens can be very mature and capable of handling the task of being a mod, while some grown adult cant
