Mine is Taiwanese and default came with 10d. OTA update and root still remain ( surprisingly) till 10f
One day I tried to install Digital Minds custom rom but phone got hard brick
I use LG flashtool to flash back this 10f version ( from India) and is exactly similar to Taiwanese 10f

You need not be rooted to use flashtool and that 10f is official rom
Yu can use Towelrooot to root it back after flash

Sorry no idea what is improved in 10f
When I got my phone it was on 10d - I was immediately prompted to update the firmware after switching it on. It went through 2 rounds , first to 10e and subsequently to 10f
Mine is a Taiwanese set which I bought in KL
Wonder why SEA sets still remained as 10b till now ??

Battery life concerns

Hi. Switched from Galaxy S4 to G Pro2 yesterday. Like everything about the phone, except the battery life! On LG stock rom, unrooted.

How are you folks managing? The way the battery-% keeps falling, I don't think it'd last me more than a day of casual use.

Also have a LG G2 - saw somewhere that need to turn off some stuff under the service menu. Anything like that for G Pro 2? Please advise.

Battery is new. A few cycles of charging will improve its performance.

Also, you can set the task manager to help you auto clear running apps . I set mine to clear hourly. ..

Battery life is very good. Easily 7-8 hours SOT. It is at least 1-2 hours more than my previous Note3, HTC One Max n Xperia Z Ultra
I have rooted phone n with xposed mod cum intelli3g app n greenify standby with 3g always on 24/7 battery level dip average 1-2 % over say 7-8 hours
Best phablet in terms of battery life I had used to date

Using a stock phone however Note 3 has a longer SoT in my experience. The G Pro 2 is very much more power efficient in sleep states though.

I'm guessing the difference to be due to the screen size and the amoled that samsung uses.

Let it recharge over and over for a week or 2, you will see significant improvement in battery life for sure. Just be patient.

Also, don't forget that this is a larger screen of 5.9" whereas S4 is only 5"!

So, battery consumption could be a little bit higher compared to S4!

Battery life is very good for a 5.9in phone with top end spec. Standby time also excellent.
