LG G Pro 2

This has been in my mind and totally puzzled me for sometime.
Now we can tackle the issue during our spare time and perhaps
come out with some possibilities.

First the Sony Xperia Z Ultra with its 6.4" screen size seems
to be way ahead...aha, from Pro 2 which is only 5.9".
However its processor may have loosen out along with its
212g weight which is heavier.

Any LG brothers want to share about the others weak
features that could not match Pro 2?

The specs are ok. But then again built-in battery. Internal only 16gb. May not be sufficient. Very dependent on ext sd.

Well, any marketer can easily answer this question Such "awards" usually need a little bit of canvassing if your product isn't really an "obvious choice". To put things in context, no article will be able to get away with not putting in Samsung Note 4 or Iphone 6plus since they are widely considered the "definitive" in this class, the article itself will lose credibility.

LG probably concentrated all their efforts building hype and editorial goodwill for G3 to generate buzz and anticipation for its successor G4. Why waste time & money generating any buzz for the Pro series when it's going to be discontinued...

I'm alternating usage of the Z Ultra and Pro 2 so i'm just sharing my personal experience here. Pro 2 is definitely superior for practical usage, it is faster and better in almost every way, especially the camera. However, Z Ultra somehow has the wow factor for me which LG Pro 2 lacks. It's hard to quantify why i feel this way, maybe it's the amalgamation of the UI, a 6.4 incher with just the right thickness, waterproof, etc. I can live with the horrible camera cos it's not important to me and non removable battery but at least it doesn't deteriorate fast To put it in simplier terms, Z Ultra seems "tailored for me", great in the areas i place emphasis on, weak in the areas i don't care about. Pro 2 is too perfect in every way till it's no longer personal

Thank you Kokitty, this is something LG brothers and sisters
have yet to hear such sincere feedback for a long long time.
Your opinions really got what real big screen mobile phone
users would think about deeply.

Your choice depends on the one that is "tailored for me"
kind of thing. Pro 2 is just too perfect for many owners.
However there seems to be areas where LG may not want
to follow using the word "Note" in their next line up.

LG may have some negative feedback of using the word
"Pro" either. Thus the successor to Pro 2 may not be using
the name as Pro 3. This is just a thought only because
they can easily come out with a new name for their flagship
model that is as good as Pro 2 but will be much much
better.

Ha ha ..I bought Z3 tablet due to its wow factor. However it is my secondary phone, mainly for use at home. Its Pro2 that I cannot go without, anytime n anywhere.

I'm not too sure now about which shops are still selling them, but 1 year ago, there were plenty.

Case, eBay has a lot. There are reasonably priced. Not expensive at all.

Cases on eBay that stands out from the rest is from Head Case Designs. I'm using one of them. Awesome design, quality and durability.

The dispute about the HTC One M9 being one up above

The downside is that this latest release cannot be any
better than the Pro 2 and two areas for sure.

maybe htc should consider using sony sensor instead of using Toshiba sensor

Maybe there may some issues that cannot be resolved
between HTC and Sony. Certainly they know Sony sensors
are great and of giving high quality output.

The sad thing is that the consumers want a better phone
camera which HTC cannot provide.

LG knows about this issue and went ahead silently
developing their own camera sensor aiming to be better
than the one from Sony!

That foresight will bring them ahead with smiling success.

The easiest way.

Download and install LG Mobile Tool and LG pc Suits from. LG Singapore webby. Then, your pc will have the required driver for USB connection automatically.

One time job. Happy forever.

Make sure your screen is unlocked after plug'-in usb cable and choose "PC / Software" first to allow detection. Didn't you?
