Anyone using the default browser in G Pro 2?

Well, have a shortcut when browsing.
Swipe 2 finger down to go top of the page.

Am using the default browser in Pro 2, but don't understand
what you mean by:

"Swipe 2 finger down to go top of the page"
Can you kindly elaborate and what are the benefits of
the action? Thanks in advance Progene. :s22::s11::s22:

Hmmm....Google Chrome is the best!:s8:

Well, having tried Opera, Chrome and others, there seems
to be some differences. However the stock browser works
a bit faster on my device. Don't know why, so I uninstall
Chrome and Opera.

The stock browser gives instant access to the preferred
web page while Chrome takes a much longer time.
Instant access means in less than two seconds.
Can share some of your experiences from other LG brothers
and sisters. =:p:s22:=:p

Hi guys

Problem : me and my wife both using LG g2 pro. I have starhub 100mbps cable in study room and a 100mbps fiber also from startup in the living room.

Recently for some strange reason both our phone cannot access internet even though under setting it states connection as very good or strong. The top part of the phone there's a ! Symbol in the Wi-Fi strength display.

But when we connect to living room with the fiber router Wi-Fi, everything works again can surf net np.

Now the mystery. When I use my iPad and mipad there was no issu3 connecting to the Wi-Fi from from my study room starhub cable router leh. So dun understand why me and my wife Wi-Fi not working whereas there's no problem when using iPad and mipad.

So wats wrong art....hopefully expert here can help me troubleshoot this issue. Thanks a million in advance.

It would be easier for us to understand your problem
if you can sum up the questions and make it more clearly.

What is it that you are asking, your phone cannot get
the Wi-Fi in which area or what?

Summary my house has both broadband cable in study room and fiber at living room both from starhub. When I use iPad and my friend Samsung phone, both have no problem getting Wi-Fi from the study room .

From your description can it be summarized like this?

1) Location - Study Room (Starbub Broadband Cable):

a) Usage of WiFi to access Internet: iPad and your friend's Samsung phone = OK!
Note: You didn't identify which Samsung phone!

b) Usage of WiFi to access Internet: LG Pro 2 (No Access)

2) Location - Living Room (Starhub Fiber):
Usage of WiFi to access Internet: Using same LG Pro 2 = OK!

You want to know the reason why there is no access for
your Pro 2 in the Study Room.

Like what Progene suggested, would you be kind enough
to post screen shots of your phone while it is at the Study
Room compared to the one at the Living Room.

That means you should show us two different screenshots.
Hoping our brothers and sisters here can identify the
problems and give you a solution. :):s8::)

Hi how to post screeshot at? Need open new thread?

No need to open new thread for you can post screen shots
on this same thread.

1. Open account with Photobucket or anyother online photo
storage

2. Post the images of the screen shot to Photobucket site.

3. Copy the links and paste it in this thread.

4. Am a newbie too, just learn how to post photos here
only a few months ago.

5. Enjoy the new experience and discovery!

Hope to see your screen shots soon on this thread, so we
can try to see if there is a solution for your problem with
the Wi-Fi thinky.

1) Location - Study Room (Starbub Broadband Cable):
abf194
a) Usage of WiFi to access Internet: iPad and your friend's Samsung phone = OK!
Note: You didn't identify which Samsung phone!

b) Usage of WiFi to access Internet: LG Pro 2 (No Access)
Link Speed: 1 Mbps
Security: None

2) Location - Living Room (Starhub Fiber): Mozaat75
Usage of WiFi to access Internet: Using same LG Pro 2 = OK!
Link Speed: 65 Mbps
Security: WPA/WPA2 PSK

Being a newbie, I can only ask these questions:
1) Why is there no Security at the Study Room compared to
the Living Room.
2) Why there is a different name in the Study Room (abf194)
instead of "Mozaat75"
3) Why is that you also have a Singtel icon on your screen?
Is your Pro 2 subscribed to Singtel?

1) Why is there no Security at the Study Room compared to
the Living Room.

Using the Cisco modem from starhub which also is a router. Not sure how to set password..

2) Why there is a different name in the Study Room (abf194)
instead of "Mozaat75"

Study room cable modem default name is abf194.
Living room fiber also from starhub comes with free dlink wireless router with 2 channel hence mozaat75 and Rico belongs to living room dlink router.

3) Why is that you also have a Singtel icon on your screen?
Is your Pro 2 subscribed to Singtel?

Yes pro 2 is under singtel contract.

P.s. the sudden lose of getting Wi-Fi from study rooms seems to happen after I installed many movies all e.g. she's, kodi etc. Could it he one of th3 reason?
Also from screenshot u can see from the phone the Wi-Fi signal icon has a ! Symbol. What does that mean that ! Sign. But my iPad mipad and my friend Samsung s5 does not have issue with my study room Wi-Fi. Very strange. Hope experts here pls help. Thanks

Using the Cisco modem from starhub which also is a router. Not sure how to set password..

There is a possibility that you can't access because you did
not have the password for the Cisco modem/router.

See if you can contact Starhub and asked them about
this problem. They may be able to give you the solution
to your problem.

But it is hard to believe your iPad and your friend's
Samsung phone can have access without the password.

No password mah so any in range device can connect to it to enjoy free Wi-Fi..
