Getting one from Ali to replace my kaput mega. Works out to S$180 for F350 or $217 for d838, both refurbs, promised scratchless, like new. Between the 2. worth the $difference?

(Using 3g 12gb plan still, and dun intend to spend much on premium phones, which I usually abuse/drop kaput within 15-18 months. Used sellers asking too high $250-$320.)

On the other hand, seeing RN2/3 and a couple China phones clocking 40k-48k antutu, while this at 30k, and Xperoa Z ultra at 35k, quite sainz. CM fan though. Any opinions/advice?

go for d838 , F350 is korea and may not support 3g here . because from other forums i see Korea sets 4g work here but not the 3g

Motherboard spoil? WiFi processor issue... Hmmm go LG service care for a checkup.

For me, i only have 2 concern on my LG G Pro 2.
2 dead pixel on screen and camera sometime jump... Meaning the viewfinder keep shifting when taking pictures.

Well, it is good to share our experiences using the Pro 2.
So far, I only got the device freeze down (stop working, and
the screen goes black). After waiting for more than a minute
or two, I restart the phone to get it back to normal working
condition again.

Mostly probably we all know that every product has a
wear and tear issue.

no more warranty. so i guess going outside shop will b cheaper. for now i hv a quote over the phone of $140 for repair. not sure wat the charge is for though.

Did you got the quote over the phone stating your problem
or you actually went to the phone retail shop, show them the
fault and they quote you after examining the phone?

Also you got to get to see which phone retail shop is reputable
and not give you a sharp knife. Ask how long it takes for them
to repair the phone too.

Jus an update on my wifi problem. The wifi chip is spoilt. So had it changed. Done within 5hrs at simlim...a shop name gw mobile. Read quite gd reviews on them. N don hv to do factory reset also as motherboard not affected. Cost 80.

We hope LG will release the upgrade by the 2nd or 3rd

Nah...i will jus use this till it is really dead. This phone is more than enuf for my usage. Don see the point in soending hundreds of dollars for upgrades that i don need.

It could be LG knows what's best for Pro 2 configuration.
Everyone was screaming for Lollipop when it was on Kitkat
and after the upgrade the same people screaming that
the upgrade eats battery too much.

The more expert technically good consumers can do the rooting
and get help to get the latest update if this is possible.
Hope brothers using Pro 2 can share their experiences on
this area.

Mine is the same as yours. Android 5.01 and I am happy
with it. The phone performs well as expected for more
than a year already.

last got it from JB KSL, after combing through few shops.... today phone land face down and got cracks...=(

when use 4g,after sometimes connection cut off n need to restart to use back internet.

keep showing some services stop,example clock google playstore etc etc

someitmes blank screen

zzz going 2 year soon...
