I had moved forward and dissappointed with lolli after two weeks. So i just collected from service centre to restore back to kit kat.

I understand your situation as many of us comes
happy using Kit-kat but brave enough to find out what's
so good about Lollipop.

Everyone has different feelings and ideas about change and
to some change is painful as in using mobile phone where
UI, battery life etc etc are concerned.

We all look forward and wish you well in your decision and
nobody can force you to use new things if you don't want
to.:s22:

Qoo10 or give a call to LG service centre to check the stock.

In fact, the G3 battery also can be used on Pro 2.

(LauHero III):
There are plenty of G3 fans with spare batteries who are
willing to spare you one if you asked.
I got my spare battery just two months from Service centre.

G4 users have no issue as some packages come with a
spare battery already. Hopefully the G4 Pro will also come
with a spare battery though it is only 5.8" screen.

Those G3 users who have not change to G4 can wait for
the official release of the G4 Pro. :s22::):s22:

I have faith in LG delivering the Pro 3. It is just that we have
to wait for their marketing plans to be carried out before its
release.

Seemingly the competitors are also not willing to give up
in anyway when popularity of LG branding in mobile
phone picks up.

The Pro 3 will be an entirely different flagship phone and
very competent in performance when compared to other
phones in the market. Be patient anyway, the light will
shines. :s22:

You are welcome brother, that's the way to enjoy life...
by sharing and caring so that selfishness will flew out of
the window.

Best to mention your need in the G3 thread as not many
G3 brothers and sisters will notice your needs when you are
mentioning it only in the Pro 2 thread.

In the past couple of months I find the community is friendly
and helpful helping one another not only on how to use the
LG series of phone but also giving resources as to where to
get accessories and other useful phone items online. :s13:

Can it be easy to take the crown as the King of the phablet?

Since Pro 2 release, there were appreciation for LG for
producing such a big size screen phone, but consumers
would rather call it the smallest most powerful phablet.

The rest of the phones from other makers especially
Sony kept its policy on making the phone slim and
water proof.

But recently we come to know that Sony mobile phone is
not making profits. Let see what is coming up in their
Xperia 4 and Xperia 5. If no removable battery, then it is
a NO NO!

We won't be disappointed with Pro 3 for many consumers
are not keen in dropping the phone carelessly into the water.

Well, those who die die must have removable batteries will never go near Xperia :s13::s13:

All else being equal, think most users will prefer a phone with removable battery. But sometimes you have no choice but to move with the times (it's similar to the battery life vs upgrade to lollipop analogy).

The trend now appears to be moving towards non-removable. LG has not released the full specs of LG Pro 3 (but most likely should be still removable) but if (touch wood) it's non removable... then good luck to the removable die-hards. Maybe cotton warp your LG Pro 2, pray that it doesn't spoil for the next 2 years and for the trend to go back to removable :D:D:D

You have put up a very good point for discussion here.
The manufacturers must take note that customers are the
king after all. They are the people that put the money into
their financial stability.

In the first place, who set the trend to have phone with
non removable battery, the customer or the manufacturer?

For every reason that comes to the final decision of the
future trend in non removable battery phone there is a
very strong and good reason that spells beneficial to
someone.

That someone is non other but the manufacturer. :(

Maybe i'm a cynic but feel that most tech firms pride themselves in being ahead of the customer "knowing what's best for the customer before the customer knows it themselves". This strategy worked and is still working well for Apple with other companies following suit.

I didn't buy the G4 cos don't quite feel the design. But had hoped that sales of it does so well that it reverses the non removable battery trend. Have not looked into analyst reports on sales but it doesn't seem to be outperforming in sales or as raved as G3. If you ask me, the consumers did not really send a clear message to the industry that they really like non removable batteries...:D:D:D
