Any reason why you want to do that?

I don't think you can uninstall the update, will have to flash the other older FW.

Battery life seems to be better. usually I play 10 min of game, batttery will drop from 100% to 98%. today I play the same game for 10 min, battery is still showing 100%.

did you use OTA or wired? why like that! hahaha. do u have dpi changer or something?



im going to revert my DPI to see if that works with OTA. if not, i will just go home to use LG PC Suite. Thanks for bringing that up, i forgot about it.

just reverted my DPI to original 640 and now i can update with towelroot method!

can share what app you use to lower g3 resolution?
thinking of lowering it to further improve the performance, since 805 version may not be sold locally. sad~~

1) kind of hard to find the charging spot for G3.

2) depends on the thickness. Normal case should be fine.

3) so far it has not affected any of my computer equipment.

no problems with the wireless charger so far. after awhile can get the hotspot in one try.

oen problem that the charger encountered was when i was using my old HTC charger plug (3pin) the wireless connection was off and on. after which when i changed to the LG plug (2pin) the connection is smooth.

using the LG quickcircle case. nice and smooth charging with it

not sure about any electromagnetic stuff affecting

1) Add more homescreen by pinching your fingers closer on the main homescreen, and it will auto show all your current homescreens. Press "+" to add more homescreen & select a default homescreen.


2) The default LG pre-installed apps. Which one you all recommend to un-install & which suggested Apps as replacement?

By default, double-tap on empty space on homescreen or double-tap on the top status notification bar to Screen-off.

Other good recommendations from you all. Using Apps like:
Screen-off
Nova Launcher (Paid version)


4) Install Flash Player on your G3.

Download and install the android flash player from here.


5) Wireless (Qi) Charger

Use the LG's supplied 2-pin plug, together with their supplied White USB cable for LG's Wireless Charger.

My own experience: So far, the charging has been quite smooth. Just need to place the G3 at the centre of the charger holder to get the optimum hotspot charging, and u will see a Battery Charging animation on the screen, to signify it is placed correctly.

If placed more to the left or right of the holder, it will show a "Slow Charging" on the screen.

So far, it works on my G3 with the protective rubber casing. Happy with it.

Those Toy Outpost shops or those push-carts that sells mobile accessories, i find their charging USB cables is those no-brands ones, and often spoil after afew use.

Hope someone can recommend where to get good quality USB charging cables for G3. thanks

I own a 5S and just sold off my G3 because the camera was not as good as they are hyping it to be. Laser autofocus doesn't focus that quickly for me. Right now Find 7 camera is still my go to choice for the almost negligible focus and capture time. Hope this helps

If one particular seller got problem then patronize another one lor. Comparatively those ah tiong and ah nei shops in SLS sell normal usb cable for 5-6 bucks and those locker shops sell for as much as 8 bucks. 5 bucks as long can serve its primary functions then whats the worst that can happen?
