Just realized LG implemented KnockOn in a way it wouldn't turn on if you put it in your pockets screen facing inwards. 'Cause when the proximity sensor is blocked, KnockOn is disabled.

You guys can try it by covering the top part and tap it the screen!

P.S. Or do I sound noob for not discovering this sooner?

After I updated to the latest firmware (10g). My G3 shut down once everyday and cannot power on unless take out the battery and put it back for restart. And also double tab the screen to unlock the phone, it may caused the phone freeze sometime. Does anybody got the same issue like mine?

Should I send in for repair or wait till the next firmware update?

I think you can factory reset your phone and see if problem continues. It's good idea after a firmware upgrade.

If cannot then go service centre try repair (they high chance will reset your phone anyway).

Waiting for next firmware.. you may be disappointed 'cos what LG fixes/updates may or may not be your problem.

I have been factory reset for 3 times... but still the same.
If really no point sending in for repair, I think the only way is wait for next update to solve this problem.

Did you install any apps or game? I don't have such issue at all ...

I didn't know that! Just tried and it works. That's a pretty clever and well thought out implementation.

In fact no issue at all until I updated my phone to 10g, all apps I installed are the same since in 2b when I got the phone.

I -think- the service centre can help u reflash to older firmware if u can't do it yourself. No harm trying to contact them.

You should update it. Lots of fixes has been pushed out.

HBS730 is the old headset. LG have HBS750 and HBS800 now. RRP for HBS750 is $69.99 USD and it's only $80+- at qoo10. Think HBS730 is worth around $50 now.

Use tissue paper and clothes peg and rubber band.
Fold the tissue paper in a few halves, wrap on the affected area, kiap the clothes peg and use rubber band to enforce even stronger.

You know, so it'll be like fingers pressing on your protector? But it's a clothes peg.
Leave it over the night, mine works out perfect.
When putting your casing, try to lift the case up around the protector.

It's probably your case pushing against it? If it is, then you got to try and get the SP to stick right in the middle of the phone so that there is some allowance for the case at the edges. Johnny help me did mine and I don't have a problem using a silicon case similar to your's.

I can remove the glass protector and reapply? Is there any form of adhesive actually on the glass protector? Or it adhere to the hp surface via static?
