Side track abit! letting go of a brand new LG G3 black local set. Meant for my mom as a surprise but she didnt like the fact that it was 5.5" hence selling away.

Pm me if anyone is interested!

btw, i think the G3 really looks much beautiful as compared to all the other flagship devices out there.

You can turn off the temperature warning if you want. I did. It will make the phone faster too since it will not throttle down the CPU. At your own risk though. :)

Yep qoo10. Quite surprised the speedy cable and anker charger don't perform well. Could be my charger also. Best is buy one of those voltage testers.

I came across this post and wanted to feedback my findings after getting a new G3 few days ago. The Anker 40W 5-port charger is indeed charging slower for the G3. With the original charger and cable, I am able to get 1.6A but on the Anker charger, I am only getting 0.8A regardless of cables. I've tried the original cable, Docomo cable, Speedy long/short, Remax short cables and all of them give the same result.

I've also another multi port charger from Qoo, brand is Orico, 30W 4-port. It is also giving the same 0.8A with any cables. So it seems that this G3 is very picky on the type of charger. The Anker and Orico chargers work with all my other devices, Nexus 7, S3, Find 7a, Tab Pro 8.4, etc. Work here means able to charge at maximum or near maximum current.

I am using the Samsung SII charger to charge the G3. As fast as using the G3 original charger and cable.

Hmm, the S2 charger is only rated at 0.7A, are you sure it is as fast as G3 original charger (1.8A)?

How do you all see the charging voltage? Via an app or a small device outside.

Easiest method is via a USB current meter which give the current and voltage reading. It is a small device inserted between the charger and the USB cable, most online shops will have it.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias=aps&field-keywords=usb current meter

Another method is via app, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ccc71.bmw&hl=en

You got try using the app and see mah?
Can't be rated for 0.7A then charge as good as 1.8A mah :s22:

easier way is go buy Dr. Charger (go qoo or dealxtreme to search)...then connect your adapter with the dr charger for the reading...

adapter and cable play very important role...the good adapter but lousy cable...= charge slow..

lousy adapter with good cable = charge slow too~

When I tried the stock FM Radio, it's in Mono instead of Stereo. Anyone knows how to change it?

Yup. If there is a difference, it is negligible. The S2 charger is a very good charger.

That means that the S2 charger had to output 1.2A at least... 0.5A above what it's rated. I am not sure that is a good idea.

Yes. I think the speedy, remax, docomo works well with Samsung phones generally.

Had the chance to test on a LG G2 Pro. Same result. Poor charging speed.

Had to use original charger with original cable or docomo to get good speed.

I searched on Qoo plus dealextreme, all give me irrelevant results, can't find this "DR. Charger" device.

I can't comment on the charging speed but I too like that compact charger a lot. The cable is very long and thin/soft. I have 4 of them (1 from S2 and 3 bought at $15 each)! We charge all our S2/S3/S4 using them at home, and at work...
