Try this... got it for $10 when it was discounted (before shipping).

It's cheap. Suggest to just get 3 to max out the $6 shipping.

Qoo10 - USB Port Electric LCD Screen Display Tester Test Charger Voltage Curre... : Smartphone / Tab...

Ah must spell out the word "doctor" then can find! Anyway I found one seller selling ten bucks too

But when I looked at the item description, it checks the usb port power but it doesn't take into account of the cable too. Unless use a microUSB female to the standard USB female adaptor then we can test the power output in addition to the cable too.

Something like this :

I have issues since day 1. I'm using 3g n sometimes there is no network and there seem to be a circle spinning at the signal bar looking for network. May I know is it the phone faulty or Sim card faulty?

That means that the S2 charger had to output 1.2A at least... 0.5A above what it's rated. I am not sure that is a good idea.

I've used it to charge all my phones from S2, S3, M7, Note3 and G3. All charge very fast. Note3 needs 2A, but I believe it charges as fast as using it's own charger and cable using the S2 charger.

Have you tried swapping your SIM with another? Sometimes if the phone is unable to acquire your telco's signal it could either be the SIM card or phone. Hopefully it's the former.

Oh the reading changes when using diff cables huh? Guess it makes sense. Then I don't buy the adaptor la, save money and time cos dealextreme takes forever to ship though it's cheap.

Yes, basically you just insert the current meter between your charger and USB cable, no need for any adaptor. Your post has reminded me to test with charge only cable as I believe your morphie cable is only for charging and hence able to obtain 1.4A.

It depends on how much current the cable is able to carry, the lower the awg rating of the cable, the thicker the cable is and the more current it is able to carry

for those using purple drake, do we need to install LGunited mobile driver before we can root? and is there any way to restore back to stock?

Install the LG PC Suite s/w. Then root. If need to un-root, use the LG PC Suite to update the FW.

Hmm, I don't know how to explain this :-(

For those using Anker 40W 5-port charger with G3, you can try using a charge only cable to get fast charging. In my limited testing, sync and charge cable only get 0.8A while a good charge only cable can achieve 1.4A. Some powerbanks will come with charge only cable, you can use that to see if it speeds up the charging.
