I am using 1 from the service center, still no issue after 6 months though.

The Qoo one is BS. Doesn't work. Might be recycled parts. I tried. Just pick up an original and save yourself a headache.

My G3 keeps on shutting down for almost a week now and even though I replaced with a new battery in which still has the same experience over and over. As I went to the service center (LG) this morning the staff that I talked to cannot explain properly why my phone is behaving like that and service IT guy just give a hint of advise that its the motherboard's fault and when I ask the cost of motherboard's replacement which is quite expensive. So better to buy a new phone rather than fix it. Definitely will not buy LG product anymore I'm so sick of this phone.

Hi guys. I know I've got left behind on this. Just wondering if anyone still using G3 updated your device to Android 6. There's no OTA update when I checked.

How do u guys update it officially with no root reliably with no problems? Using LG Pc Suite or LG support tool? I've read around the tread but didn't get my specific answers.

Pardon me if this questions have been asked and thanks in advance.

PC Suite. its been out for a while if im not mistaken... i updated mine about 3 weeks ago no issues. battery life has improved by about 30%. still not good tho.. 3hr SOT. S7 has 5-6hr SOT

nowadays everything is on the motherboard so for them its easier to say change motherboard. the few things they can change are the sim card slot, camera, buttons and screen. $300 to change the mobo, buy new phone better.

on the other hand... if ur iphone has the same problem. apple will tell u change mobo too. but somehow people feel better paying $400 $500 $600 for iphone replacement than G3

mine is qoo10 working for 1yr. it looks like a korea spare model cos the words all in korean. other than that looks like original. $10

I bought a new pc, which is running on Windows 10. However, I can't seem to be able to access my LG G3 from my new pc using USB port.

No issue for me on Windows 10 to detect my LG G3.

Did you check if your USB port is working with other devices?

xRenol, yes. The ports work with other devices such as Harddisks, thumbdrives, and mouse.
When I connect to LG G3, it shows as 'Charging' but I can't access the Phone from the new Laptop. (I could access it from my old laptop.)

I think you need to download and install the drivers for Windows 10.

have you changed the setting in the notification bar from "charge only / charging" to "MTP / File transfer"?

I have tried to install LG PC Suite as well as LG Installer. But still doesn't work.
I have also tried to find the 'notification' as advised by some from the internet, but there are no 'notification' when I am charging the phone.
I have also tried to go to 'Settings - Storage' and tried to find the '3 dots' on the top right, but there's no such thing either.
