Had a G3 long ago and spoiled after just 1yr.

Know that LG phones have known issues and I think thats why LG trying to salvage their reputation with 2yr warranty for G6

But anyone have G3 that is still working after so many years? Or is it all spoil liao? :s13:

1 G3 still working, the other has screen problem, flickering and with vertical lines.

My 3yrs old LG G3 just gave way yesterday. Blinking blue and green led light but nothing out of the screen and no sound.

Shag, I change my motherboard months back, and the new motherboard is facing the flickering issue way faster than the original board. I don't think the coin fix is a long term solution from what I read online. Until now, there isn't one fix or defined solution leh.... :(

I took my phone apart as the black screen fades started again about 1 month back. I been finding out the main cause for this but sadly, still no hope and its already a past-phone that no one really uses now. I read something about the camera connectors causing the issue too. So I unplug the camera modules both front and back. Then I spray lots of electronic contact solvent and clean it. Amazing it return back to life and this now it have not happen. It is now my spare phone which I used for media so I still monitoring the problem reoccurring. Gladly to use it for another period of time.

Bot in Jan 2015 but spoilt last week. Motherboard issue , to repair cost $300+ as quoted by LG Service Center.

Any one can solve this issue at a low cost?
