you should consider your own usage patterns and needs.
if all this while you have been using non-water proof handphones with no issue, then there's really no need to get a water proof phone.

its more of a good to have feature, but not a must have.

Another difference in terms of size - S5 5.1" to G3 5.5".

Surprise how they squeeze 5.5 inch into this body size.
2k screen is sharp...at least it looks sharp.
Phone is snappy.

Yah, batt life has been my biggest worry for this phone. A big high resolution screen with average size batt does not inspire confidence. Let's hope they can quickly tweak the software and see what other reviews have to say with actual power usage graphs.

Honestly, after seeing wwdc and ip6 leaks, my heart yearns more on upcoming iPhone. Probably they really have the phone to make me go back to Ios since I left for 3yrs ago.

hope gsmarena can quickly come out with their battery review. I find their batt tests seems most reliable.
