agree, imagine if they really go approve waterproof then make it another of their selling point, the phone might cost more. Better for us consumers this way.

I think it's good that someone is willing to put his phone "on the line" to prove a point... I agree that the G3 will definitely cost more with the IP rating.

I don't think that there are just the selected few that would use their phone underwater. As for the rest, they are just contented that their phone is rated for something that's "nice to have" but not necessary required in everyday use...

but better dont take the risk.. as repair water-damaged phone... is costly... and its not cover by warranty if the device is not certified.

Was considering the M8 and the Z2 but the G3 caught my eye... If the battery life was better I would say it's a perfect phone...

The only thing m8 wins is the smoothness of the ui. For anything else they are similar and g3 thrash m8 on camera. Even z2 camera also cmi, only looks good on specs but take mediocre photos worse off than cameras few years back.

To the layman 20.7MP is really impressive, at least I was... Had the M8 on my mind but I'm using an HTC One XL now after I sold off my Nexus 5 so don't want to own another... As for the Z2, I know that the phone won't last long till I sell it away... I swore to never get another Samsung after my last experience with the S4...


So perhaps the G3 for now... There are some selling but I'm going for the black one...

hmm... encountered the 4th stealth G3 auto shut-down since my 10 days of ownership.

Booting back is no problem at all for my case but I am puzzled with the auto shut down thingy.
Seemed to be only effecting our model, D855, as per XDA:

As this effects reliability, I am hoping to solve this issue ASAP

Hi I tried hard resetting it and installing apps one by one. Haven't had the restart since last Friday. Having said that, it auto shut down this afternoon stealthily if no may add ...

Gpro was great at its time. Ate the note 2 and tore it apart. Gpro2 also raped note 3.
