For warranty, do we need to register the set manually with LG or it's auto register one? Thanks.

Need some advices from the bros here. I managed to root the device using purpledrake-lite, but there's no SuperSU found in the Apps list, is this normal?

Also, how do I:
- Install customer recovery like TWRP, Phil Touch, CWM?
- Boot into recovery mode, download mode? I need to install some .zip file via recovery.
- I'm on firmware V10b-SEA-XX, if I updated to the newest firmware, will the root gets unrooted?
- Is there an unroot option for warranty claiming purpose?
- What is F400 btw? Is it a model number? I supposed ours is D855?
- Is there any custom ROM available, saw 2 [ROM] in XDA but not sure if they can be used for our device.

Jinshnu Camera Mod V2. Slightly better imaging quality due to higher save rate. Worth a try but must be rooted!

My g3 home touch buttons keep blocking part of the youtube video in landscape mode. How to make it disappear when playing youtube video?

I have the same problem when I used my SanDisk 32gb when I switch from note 3. Change to Samsung EVO micro sd then the problem is gone aldy

supersu can be installed from the play store.
cannot install twrp, cwm etc because the bootloader is locked.
can boot into download mode. i think same as all android, press power on and vol down button.
will still be rooted after update to latest 10g.
us the lg pc suite to update the fw. root will be gone.
f400 is korean version i believe.
not sure about custom rom.

Hi guys, planning to get a G3 but there are some concerns after reading forums in android central and XDA. Was wondering what you guys feel about these.

1. Overheating easily? like watching 720p tv shows and movies, surfing web?
2. Sharpening of the text which results to halo effect, it is really noticeable?
3. I understand that the display brightness is rather low even above 50%, say if i were to keep it around 70%- 80% for daily use will it decrease the battery life?
4. Does it lag bad? Like scrolling in apps, broswers, ui lag?

I have played with telco display sets but don't really know where the halo effects comes in. Also, does double tap screen knock on/off still works if i were to switch the launcher to nova?
