Bought the Speedy and Docomo to try.

With a voltage/current tester, I get the following results.

Speedy Cable Charging G3

Asus Nexus 7 2A charger - 0.7a
Anker 40W 5 port charger - 0.7a

Docomo Cable Charging G3

Asus Nexus 7 2A charger - 1-1.1a
Anker 40W 5 port charger - 0.9a

Speedy Cable Charging Xiaomi 10400 PB

Asus Nexus 7 2A charger - 0.5a
Anker 40W 5 port charger - 0.5a

Docomo Cable Charging Xiaomi 10400 PB

Asus Nexus 7 2A charger - 1.5a
Anker 40W 5 port charger - 1.5a

Note that the tests are not controlled. Readings taken ad hoc. The Docomo cable clearly charges faster. Interestingly, the Nexus 7 charger is quite capable.

thanks for sharing. where to buy the docomo charging cable?

Any lag issues? I'm guessing should be fine since its 3 GB RAM. Using Note 3 now and find it just a little bit too big. Perhaps G3 would be more suitable for me.

Anyone here using Verus Iron Shield? Where and how much did you purchase for it?

I saw one shop at T3 Changi airport selling for $49 and Qoo10 selling for $36.90, wondering if any other local shops also selling it and at cheaper price. :)

Thanks.

I think the shutdown bug affected to some batches only, not many but it exists. Depends on your luck.

And there are 2 kind of shutdowns, one is during usage and the other during sleep.

The one during sleep is suspected because of long idle time sort of a safety trigger.

As for the shutdown during usage is the most problematic one. One day can shutdown 3-4times.

LG came out with a patch to solve this problem but it seems that it replaces the phones with restart to shutdown.

So it's up to luck and it's a good phone. Think about it.:)

Mine shuts down sometimes. Trying to pinpoint why but so far noticed most Times is after I have 5-7 apps running. Wonder if it's a memory management issue?

It doesn't happen often for me and since updated to New firmware no problems yet.

Nope, not even once shutdown. I suggest you to go to LG Service Center to get it repair/replace. :)

Bro, what brand are they actually selling? Speedy or Docomo? Quite confuse as there's no option to choose the brand. Are they the same? :s11:

For lightning cable, only got Speedy.
For micro USB cable, got Docomo and Speedy.

You have to select Samsung/HTC/LG/XIAOMI first before the brand of cable option appears.

* I bought the Docomo cable previously and indeed it charges quite fast.

I have been using it for two weeks and never encountered any auto shutdown.

I can also vouch that the 4G reception is better than my old HTC One M7. My office has a weak 4G coverage and my old HTC One M7 seems to be really struggling in maintaining the 4G connection as I can see it keeps switching back and forth between 4G, H+ and 3G but with this LG G3, its 4G connection stays solid. Good phone!

Btw, one thing to note is that the speaker quality of LG G3 is still no match to HTC One though.

How do you find the battery life ?
