is the battery life as bad as stated?

im using a lumia 1520 thinking of changing to this but fear the battery life will be a major difference

Does it overheat faster than the v10g?

So far I haven't detected any overheating on my phone. I don't play games on my smart phones so that could be a reason.

G3 battery life can considered good but not super good.

It surely can't beat your battery life of the recent Windows phone models.

Nothing is perfect. It is up to you to give in to whatever not so good, and take whatever is good.


Android phones are good in the way that it is more organised and opened to apps as well as easy to operate and more flexible.

Try ending unused apps or apps running in background.
So far with G3, have yet to experience any lag.
Some apps may be the issue as well, so need a bit of investigation to find out.

OPPO Find 7 is still on Jellybean 4.3, but honestly, there's little difference to a casual user. The ColorOS and its workings allow for very good one handed usage of the 5.5 inch display.

Haizz first lg g3 phone i using rchrome web browser.. When typing a few words it ok. But if alot all my words can't see.. Need to post reply then can see..

Worst my antutu point super low. Worst then n3 and m8...

Just realised my new G3 has the shutdown bug. Left the phone on overnight and woke up this morning to found it automatically shutdown by itself. Is there any remedy for it? I don't want to RMA it since it's new...

My G3 has similar case as yours, and it's been confirmed true.

Because I've tested 3 times and it shut down 3 times.

Before I sleep, I switch my G3 to flight mode, after 6 hrs, it shuts down. Tested 3 times.

But if I set my alarms, it didn't shut down. It keeps the phone awake. You can try it to see whether it's the same as mine

Yup, very interesting. Mine is stock firmware, never update at all...

Hope that it is just power saving hidden feature which as long as my alarms are activated 24/7, it'll be alright.

It never shuts down when the alarms are activated, and I trust my G3 that it won't shut down when the alarms are on...fingers crossed!;P
