So far no reboots. Only installed important apps so I guess might be some apps that might be causing the auto reboot

Anyone facing random reboot issues? My phone just freeezes randomly and then suddenly shuts off by itself. Pressing the power button cant turn it on till it turns on itself. Happened even when screen is turned off. Thinking of bringing to the service center, but not sure if LG will take in for repair or just simply downgrade it back to kitcat. I suspect that it's hardware issue though. Using AndroidNow 8.4 custom rom.

You can try to download "DS battery saver" from play store, it should solve your random shut down issues.

Maybe he wants your phone to fall into deep sleep then never wake up. In a way it solves the auto reboot.

just got my spigen case from amazon, the phone is amaaazing! haha i'm running on kitkat happily, disabled a lot of bloatware and loving the phone. now it feels almost like my nexus 4 pre lollipop update.

1 thing i don't understand is why the gmail app is hidden? as in it's not in the app page but have to find it manually.

The Gmail app is in the app page but grouped under Google.

I did a hard reset after the lollipop update. Last week, the phone seems to be running fine but past few days the performance feels very sluggish... No new apps were installed in the meantime. Not sure if any of u encountered the same thing?

Mine didnt come with a rear protective film.

The plastic protective film is on the rear buttons but not rear cover.

i noticed that if the batt goes below 15%, all the lollipop animation is gone. opening/closing apps just pops up immediately without any transition effects. so if you start to notice that the phone is getting sluggish, take note if the batt is low.

not sure if my assumption is valid. perhaps more users can share their experience.

Hi, can share the Kitkat firmware file to downgrade? Have you done it? Is it easy? Really can't stand the bad battery life and lagness on Lollipop

LG G3 has several models, you got to find the right firmware for your model.

for eg. last kitkat firmware for F400L is F400L10t_00.kdz

On the contrary, the phone should be faster if it has less animations. I disable all animations on my phone and it is almost as fast as my pre lollipop nexus 4
