Fine crack. Only condition was as long as there are no signs that it was mishandled/accidentally dropped.

so you just bring the phone to service center along with the warranty card and then claim the warranty?

how long they took to repair it and return to you?...sigh my G3 will be out of warranty this 4th July...but i need to first get my G4 then only i can send it for warranty...

Yup, they required the receipt too. Mine took 3 days.

So for those who wants replacement for LG G3 frame and casing, it is only valid for those with hairline cracks at the mic port and is the earlier batch of LG G3 phones? Because I just noticed mine has the cracks too. Btw their service center is in Alexandra road?

I played with the G3 and G4 demo set and notice the G3 seems to be sluggish; especially sliding thru the high resolution pic in the gallery (the loading icon always pop up between each pic). Is it due to the demo set being 1 year old? G4 was very smooth but G3 price is really making it a good deal now.

The G3 isn't slow in real life at least to me. I believe the demo units are on the older firmware and has lots of applications running on the background.

I've tried the G3 that my sister was using. Never felt it was slow to be honest. I think it really depends on your usage pattern. Display units normally have a lot of unclosed applications running the background since people always launch some applications to test, then put it back. I don't even know when was the last time they restarted it.

I see. Still undecided whether to get G3 or G4. G4 is better in terms of camera, screen and performance but G3 so much cheaper now.

In terms of performance, G3 is quite close to G4 (played with a G4). I think the G3 is still a decent phone to consider unless you want the added features and performance of the camera on the G4.
