Has anyone experience leaking of a new battery on a one year old LG G3? No matter what i do, battery leaks like crazy.
Any suggestion of having the battery works better? Like rooting (i dunno anything about rooting).
I dun find a need to change a new phone as i still like this phone alot unless the battery proves to be useless then no choice have to change.
Pls advise.
Tq

what do u mean by battery leaks?

IF M arrives :s13:

sounds like a firmware issue. but seriously g3 batt life cant last a day. dont know how u do that
Mine can. If I go on a very light usage, 2 days is possible. Otherwise, on a typical day, 10+ mins of calls, 1 to 2 hrs screen time on WhatsApp and Facebook, I will still be left with about 40% juice before I head to bed.

No power saving mode enabled.

ahh theres the keyword... 1 to 2hr SOT.

g3 batt life is abt 3hr SOT for mine so having 40% left should give u another 1hr of SOT which is equal to mine.

Well, possible.

My 1hr SOT for WhatsApp via 4G drains about 15% though. So yea, should give me about another 1 to 2 hrs of SOT based on my 40% remaining life on a heavier day. :)

And that said, I have used the Note 4 as well, it lasts about the same as the G3 based on same usage patterns.

Thanks for the recommendation apps but battery still drain off...

I learn that apps which you don't use often can be "forced stop"
or disabled to save battery and Ram. Just go to Settings
to find out, how to do it.

Have try using apps to kill apps running in the background
but find it not useful at all. So doing it manually seems to
bring better result.

Perhaps this link may help:

Already Force Stop quite a number of Apps running in the back ground but help a bit only...

Any ideas how to roll back to the previous version before update to this latest version ?

Hi guys,

After 4 days of usage, i feel that this battery does not perform as good as the original battery that came with the G3. Personally, i think it is not an original.

It would be more useful if you show photograph of its side
that has the the contact points.

Most non original stuff especially fake battery will show
some differences in the contact points.

Love the G3 but this battery draining problem really causing a lot of inconvenience....

How long have you been using the phone?
There are people who have more than 250 apps installed
on their G3 or other models which eat up the battery.
Keep the WiFi off, animation off, location off will also help.

The best is to learn how to uninstalled or disable those
apps that you don't need and clear the cache as often
as you wish to.
