Yes, definitely. Both 818P and 818N successful. Not difficult. Just follow the instruction carefully, it will succeed. No data lost, except for one thing. If your micro SD is using exFat format, it will not support. You have to format your card back to Fat32. I guess this is due to the kenel.

Use Pc to copy to the root of your phone memory. Your SD card is Fat32 format which got the 4gb size limit.

last week, i bought h818p from mr joe
ww.myaparato.com/lg-g4-leather-dual-sim-lte-4g-h818p-32gb-mobile-phone/product-1355655.html

and i can confirmed that the h818p (10d-ame) from this seller support 4g on second sim by changing to gsm for 1st sim and vise versa..

you cant activate both 4g at once.

It's the same for HK 818N.

I'm using the N version from HK. I can select LTE on sim 2. So conclusion, both P and N are the same. And the best for N version, u can even select the LTE band under the hidden menu 277634#*#. Meaning if I travel to Australia or even china, I can switch to their LTE band. For SG, it's under LTE band 7 iirc.

hi, i just try by using your code and i can see the "lte band selection" in h818p too...so conclusion they are most probably 99% same..

but looking at the method to activate other band, looks like not that easy
f forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/guide-enabling-lte-bands-t3137818

So basically no difference between P and N ?

I was using the z3 dual earlier so I know only 1 sim can connect to lte at 1 time But when I was holding to G4 n variant
.. I swop GSM on sim 1 and try to connect 4g on sim2 But I can't.

Not sure how u manage to do it though.

If you are using h818p, NO worry
SIM 2 support lte, but change the SIM 1 to gsm first

My first impression on LG G4
- Simply Elegance.
- Solid build even though not uni body.
- The IPS Quantum screen is simply outstanding! Wow!
- Camera focusing is extreme fast which S6 Edge is no way to fight with.
- Smooth performance in overall, no complain.

What I dislike and shall be improve
- The LG stock keyboard is the worst keyboard I ever use! It is not really smooth and the swipe recognition is simply unusable! I already switch to Google keyboard as using LG keyboard probably will shorten my life! :p
- Camera is not a wide as S6 Edge camera.

Is LG G4 Dual SIM H818N Hong Kong edition both SIM support LTE? I can assure also YES it is support as long as you upgrade to latest 10C firmware.

this is only true after the recent 10c firmware upgrade...before that it was still not working

I used other region firmware. HK 10C is late. I dun have another 4G sim to printscreen previously as I am using a Pre paid card for calling overseas number.

So the P (Indonesia, Thailand, UAE) has less bands than N (China)? I bought p thinking it would support western countries better than N

So, the band selection, its inside the hidden menu. Whether does it works, I had not tried before. I only tried selecting local bands. I read somewhere in forums that u need to flash some modem files if u wanna to have certain regions band. To me, both P and N are exactly the same hardware, both are made in korea. I suppose the single sim version are not made in korea?

hi sorry i am still alil confused. from your pics, if i were to set SIM2 to 3G only, can i set SIM1 to 4G/3G/2G?

basically i wana use SIM1 for data and SIM2 for calls(3G). but they are pulling the plug on 2G in 2017, so i wana be sure this is future-proof.
